Eda's beautiful green eyes flickered between the dark orbs of Emir's and his lips, and she knew that she honestly did not feel the worry that she had felt a few hours ago. All because of one certain raven head man, "Yes, because I have you!"
Time seemed to stop as Emir looked into those beautiful emerald orbs. How could Eda say these words and expect him to stay sane. Emir breathed out as he closed his eyes, and moved closer to Eda on the bed. He leaned his head, nuzzling into the crook of Eda's neck, as he let her words sink in.
What did he do for her to trust him so much, even going to the point of throwing away her worries and threats, just because he had made her a promise? While, in reality he had not been completely honest, with the exception of his name and his feelings towards her.
Her words of hope and her eyes that held the unspoken trust in him, were like taunts. Taunting his guilt, the more she stayed beside him. Did his own feelings matter more than the truth that Eda is destined to know? Is that all that she meant to him? For his needs to be prioritized than her's?
No... He made a promise that he will be the one to look after her and protect her and not the other way around.
Emir sighed as he pulled back and looked at her. His eyes held too many emotions all together, trying to speak out the words from his heart, which seemed to be unable to come out of his mouth. He gently tucked a strand of hair, behind her ear, as he braced himself to tell her everything.
"Would you still want me to be with you, even if I haven't been completely honest with you?"
Eda frowned at his words, but soon her beautiful lips turned into a small smile as she looked back into his serious dark eyes. "Everybody has their own little secrets Emir. Not everything can be said and shared with anyone and everyone"
Emir pursed his lips and shook his head a little, "That's not--"
But Eda interrupted before he could finish as she gently held his palm in her's, "Your explanations on your tattoos," she began trailing her fingers along his intriguing black inks, "The bruises on your knuckles," her finger moving around to caress the wounds on his hand, "When you were able to...", her voice seemed to trail off as she tried to compose herself, "...in that warehouse, how you saved me", she managed to bring out the words finally as her eyes moved from his hands to his eyes, "I know that there is so much more to you that you have not shared."
Emir's heart was painfully beating in his chest with every word that Eda spoke. She had been able to see through him, despite him putting on a facade to the world around. She gave a soft smile as she tentatively continued, "I mean, not everyone can do what you did in that w-warehouse, as well as this morning, in front of the house.."
Emir swallowed hard as he realized that Eda had more to say. "I don't r-really mind that you have unsaid secrets. But if you ever felt like sharing them, I promise not to judge", she paused to give him a reassuring smile.
"You have seen me break down and be in my most vulnerable place I have ever been in my life. You saved me, took care of me, comforted me...," she continued as her fingers now gently brushed against his cheeks, "you kissed me to sleep, took away my nightmare, and held me close to your heart...", her voice trailing off in a whisper, "how can you think that I would not want you to be with me, after all this?"
To say that Emir was speechless would be an understatement. Because no one has ever, EVER seen Emir for who he really is. Maybe except his father sometimes. But Eda, his beautiful Eda, saw him and his heart, his heart that seemed like it was beating for her... just for her...
Oh she was doing things to his little heart.
And he could feel his eyes blur as a tear threatened to roll down, because how can he not tell her everything after all that she had shared. It was a part of her right to know the truth as well. He licked his lips as his dark eyes looked at her pleadingly, "Eda..."
"Please Emir... ", She stopped him as she sensed his uncertainty. "P-Please don't push this away, whatever this is", she gestured between them, "I trust you.... I... I need you Emir", she breathed out leaning in to connect their lips, taking Emir by surprise
Emir's entire being froze with the feel of her soft lips against his. Though he had kissed her the other night, it was to comfort her, to let her know that she was safe and it was far from being a passionate one.
But today, right now, he could feel her kissing him with passion and earnestness, pouring herself into the kiss. Emir could no longer hold himself back when he could feel her emotions, raw and yet delicate.
One of his hands wrapped around her waist, as the other one held her face and tilted her head to deepen the kiss. Eda whimpered when their tongues met, causing a low grunt from Emir.
Her fingers dived in to hold his nape, pulling him in closer, as their kiss turned more heated. Emir's frantic hands moved to hold her tighter and yet it felt like it wasn't enough. His hands that held her waist, lowered down to yank her forward, with Eda gasping at the sudden pull, causing her to straddle his lap.
Their lips continued to brush each other as their tongues explored their deep caverns. Heaving heavily for air, they pulled apart, with chest raising and falling with deep breaths, as their lips glistened wet with their saliva.
Emir brushed his thumb across her lips, wiping off the wetness before wiping his own and connected their foreheads together in content. He continued to give a few more pecks on her lips, each one lingering longer than the last, with his own guilt, now screaming at him from the back of his head. He leaned in more to leave a longer lingering and a passionate kiss and pulled back a little as he inhaled her addictive lavender scent.
"Can you promise me Eda, promise me that you will stay... Please..?"
