────────── "I'M POSITIVE THAT'S WHAT YOU CALL A CRUSH, YORU-CHAN." KUROMI HUMMED, PLAYING THE GIRL'S HAIR, MAKING A SMALL SINGLE BRAID AS THE OTHER PLAYED GAMES ON HER PHONE, LEANING AGAINST THE OLDER WOMAN.

Huffing, Yoru didn't want to believe the concept of a crush; a crush wasn't far from the concept of that kind of love and she hated it. She hated the idea of romancing that way; the way it clearly had her brother wrapped around its finger was enough for it to disgust her, to scare her.

Smiling as she leaned over to see what game the younger girl was playing, Kuromi hummed. "What's so wrong with having a crush anyway, Yoru-chan? It's cute! You're just a teenage girl with a cute crush, I don't there's anything more cuter than that!"

The older woman squealed as if she was the one that was possibly in love. Her arms wrapped around the girl tightly and brought her into an embrace, landing Yoru's soft cheeks against her equally soft chest. She snuggled the younger girl as if she were a teddy on her bed.

Yoru's cheeks flushed as she clutched her phone, losing her game due to the loss of concentration. "There's nothing cute about that!" She cried out, restarting her game. "Have you seen my brother? He's running after that stupid Takiishi as if he's some god that he has to worship!"

"Hm? What's wrong with that? I think that's cute too!" Added Kuromi with a bright smile that had Yoru deadpanning. "I wish I could be a teenage girl in love again~! This time I'd like to act on it and be in a cute teenage relationship too~!"

The older woman held her face with fantasies of her younger life. "There was this really cute guy back then! He used to go to Furin though...so my friends were entirely against me even trying to confess to him. The boys around there are delinquents, you know. A bunch of fighters!" she glanced at Yoru. "Say, that's where Yamato wants to go with that boy for high school, right?"

The mention of the boy's high school made Yoru pause. She tensed under the name as her lips pursed. "I wouldn't know." She responded, her tone indifferent as she turned back to her game.

Taken back by her cold response, Kuromi blinked. It was rare for Yoru to give someone the cold shoulder, especially to Kuromi, who was the older sister or mother that Yoru needed in her life. 'Hm? Is that a sour topic?' The older woman asked herself, setting herself back down on the couch as Yoru leaned against her again.

When realisation hit, her eyes softened as she continued to gaze at the girl. 'I see...' she hummed, playing with her hair again. "Well you can always come by here more often," suggested Kuromi, "You know I'd love to have you around more, Yoru-chan! Maybe I'll even teach you a thing or two."
