"[Y/N], what if we make a truce?" So that's what he was after.

A benefit for himself.

A truce would do my tribute good, but it would do so if Snow wasn't the mentor for Baldwin from Disctict 4. Because Coriolanus would strivr hard to reach the goal. Even if his actions said different, his eyes almost always seemed to betray him.

And yet... no I had to snap out of it.

"And get Mags killed? I know what you want, and you won't get it."

"The truce will let her be alive for longer." In vain did he try to talk me into his idea.

"Her or your boy?" I hissed back at him, tilting abruplty my head at the exit to the building.

"If it aren't our lovebirds." The woman which placed last place commented as she was the first one from her group to come out of the buliding.

Donna was her name if I recall corectly.

"Surerly puppets from Volumnia. Why else would they be first?" Right behind her Asher, 20th place, came out.

"Someone is hurt that some students have better ideas? How sad, I think I will have to take my tissue out because I may cry for your affliction," I provoked them, as a smug smile appeared on my face.

For bad ideas you get a bad place, that's all.

How come some elder people couldn't still get it? Were they not taught at school about it?

"Listen here you litt-" she wanted to end her sentence. Her hand was almost ready to meet my cheek, but Snow stepped right before me, taking the hit of her palm on his shoulder.

"Now now. Why already the bad blood? Or maybe did her words hit right on the nail?"

If my eyes were shooting lasers, I surerly would burn a hole in the back of his head.

He didn't had to step in, making me look like a damsel in distress.

"Provoked by the youngest Donna?" Otis, 3rd place, walked put of the building smiling at us. "Don't you know that those two are our little protegies?"

"Of course I do."

"Right, of course you do, Donna." Otis patted her on her shoulder, as if they were friends.

But we all knew that they didn't even knew each other. Since she was an erdely woman, whereheas Otis was going to graduate from the University in this year.

I narrowed my brow, as I glanced at Otis.

What did he benefit with lying that Snow and I were protegies?

Could he be a foe or friend?

"Well, nice talk and all, but excuse me, I gotta go." As fast as he barged into our little conversation did he made his way out.

It was obvious that he tried to achieve something trough that, but what was it?

"You will regret this, [Y/L/N]," Donna said it in a lowered voice, gritting her teets.

If looks could kill, my warm body would be propably laying on the ground.

"I never regret anything." Of course it was a lie, but she didn't had to know about it.

Nobody could know about it.

"Oh my. [Y/N], we have to go, right?" Snow asked me, as he pretended to look at his watch.

What was he playing at?

Why was he suddenly pretending that we were close?

"Right, Coryo." I put my best, almost charming smile onto my face, as I looked at the blond haired boy.

Little did he know, that behind that smile, my mind showed me milion ways to decapitate his head.

"Excuse us, it was nice talking to you." I bid them a goodbay, turning on my heel.

Till we were in their sight, Snow walked in silence next to me.

The only thing that could be heard were car engines, which were deafening our footsteps.

When we were enough away from them I tried to loose Coriolanus, walking faster, slower, almost running but he seemed to adjust to my pace.

He really had a death wish, hadn't he?

"[Y/N], you, know you can't avoid me forever," said Coriolanus, as he was walking like a pest (that you can't get rid of) right next to me.

"Will try my best though," I scoffed, as I tried to walk faster again. But to my dismay my legs were shorter than his, and because of that he easily caught up.

"Will you leave me alone?" I gesticulated, as I throwed my hands up in the air to show my frustration with this small gesture.

"Why do you still hold a grudge against me?"

Was he serious?

I scoffed, as I shook my head

"Because I know that you had to do something with his death," I hissed, looking straitgh into his eyes.

Almost like a madman wanting his prey to reciprocate the gaze. Of course Snow won't ever admit any of his mistakes, throwing the responsibility on everyone but himself.

"Just like you did," he whispered, as his pupils met mine. My nostrlis went wider, and my jaw muscles tensed.

"Don't drag me into your schemes, S n o w."

Oh, how much I hated him.

"Wanting good for the Districts. They are humane too..." saying that he grasped onto my hand, holding it roughly. "Don't you see, that whenever someone tries to help them, save them they die? While the Districts seem to celebrate it?"

With one pull I yanked my hand free, shoting daggers at him.

"About who are you saying that? The Discticts or you?"

"Hate me all you want, but don't say later that I didn't warn you."
