Fame or Fortune - Choi Beomgyu

Youngie did answer Beomgyu's call that night and he finally got to suggest a second date. They planned to meet the next day at a gaming café. Youngie isn't great at gaming, but she wanted to do something for him after their recent turmoil.

Youngie arrives about 30 minutes after Beomgyu, long enough for him to begin to fear he got stood up. But he is happy nonetheless when she finally comes in.

When she does she catches his eye, dressed different from what he expected. Usually they have a similar style, suiting oversized tops and jeans, but today her shirt was a little more fitting and she wore a decorative skirt with stockings under (think e-girl). He still found her beautiful though, so there were no complaints from him.

They greet each other with a small hug before sitting next to one another in front of the computers.

Gyu suggest they chat before getting deep into the games, so he starts by opening up about his troubles from preparing for his new album.

"So we're recording the dance practice and I kept making mistakes. I felt so bad because I didn't want my members to be tired from all the extra... Youngie? Are you listening to me?" Mid-sentence Beomgyu turns to her, only to see her taking selcas showing off her outfit and the café.

"Yeah yeah, something about dance."

Beomgyu's shock led to sadness. This was so unlike her. What happened to the kind and yapper he met in 2021?

"Please don't ignore me Youngie. I- I can't be ignored, it doesn't feel good."

"Sorry Beomgyu but I need to do this. My group has been trending lately and I can't waste a second and become old news. Right now just posting a pick of me winking makes my name trend."

"Yeah your name, not your group's. And since when did you do fan service?"

"They've been with me for 3 years now, I owe them something." She shrugs.

"The millions of views on 'Obsessed' haven't been with you for 3 years. 3 years ago you were only getting 50k, and guess who one of those were." He points to himself. "I know you think things are different but I want my old Youngie back and I'm sure they do too. She was sweet and-"

"She, was nobody. If you can't support me then I don't need you." She glares before getting up and stomping away, leaving him alone once again.

Who do you think is right in this situation? Has Youngie completely changed up or is Beomgyu not being supportive?
