You wake up with Simon's head resting on your chest, his arms wrapped tightly around you. You notice he's trembling, his face drawn in distress. Worried, you gently shake him awake.

As soon as he opens his eyes, he clings to you, kissing you hurriedly. "I'm so sorry, I'm so sorry. Please forgive me," he chokes out, his voice breaking.

You stroke his head soothingly. "Hey, it's okay. I'm right here. What happened?" you ask gently.

Simon doesn't stop apologizing, tears streaming down his face. He shifts onto your lap, his massive frame curled up close to you, seeking comfort. "I...I dreamed I threw you away. I hurt you, betrayed you. I'm so sorry."

Realizing his nightmare's grip on him, you hug him tightly, reassuring him that everything's fine. "Simon, it's just a dream. I'm here, and I'm not going anywhere. You're safe with me." Gradually, his breathing steadies, and he lies back down next to you, the tension leaving his body.

He smiles, still a little shaky, and whispers, "Y/N, I love you."

You kiss him softly, wanting him to feel every bit of your affection and reassurance. Just then, a small laugh echoes around the room. You look up and spot Rabie Baby, a mischievous bat hovering above, grinning.

"Well, well, the big bad dragon's just a big ol' teddy bear, huh?" she teases. "Should I go spread the word?"

You quickly nudge Simon awake and nod toward Rabie Baby. He shoots up, shielding you behind him protectively. "Oh, Simon's on guard now, is he?" Rabie snickers, darting away in an instant.

Simon growls, "I'll catch you one day, Rabie!" His voice is filled with irritation, but you can tell he's just embarrassed. You wrap your arms around him, grounding him again. "It's alright, Simon. She's gone now."

He sighs and lets out a puff of smoke, still a bit riled up. "You okay?" you ask, rubbing his back.

He nods, exhaling more smoke, but as he prepares for another puff, you catch him off guard with a quick kiss. His eyes widen in surprise as the smoke fills your mouth.

"Y/N! What the-" he starts, but you blow the smoke out, feeling a wave of drowsiness come over you.

"I'm just happy you're okay, Smokey," you murmur, before passing out from the soothing effects of the smoke.

Simon's POV

I knew my calming smoke could work wonders, but I hadn't expected it to take effect on Y/N so fast. As he drifted off, I gently lifted him into my arms, carrying him through the winding halls to the treasure room-my hidden sanctuary. This room was like a maze to anyone else, a place only I knew every corner of. Here, he'd be safe. Here, no one could intrude.

Once inside, I lay him down on the soft mattress, brushing a strand of hair away from his face as he slept peacefully, looking more serene than ever. I settled beside him, determined to stay vigilant through the night, ensuring that no one-not even Rabie or anyone else lurking in the shadows-would disturb us.

This treasure room, filled with riches and memories, now had something far more precious to protect. As I watched him sleep, a sense of purpose washed over me. This room was no longer just my sanctuary-it was now our safe haven, a fortress of quiet amidst the chaos, and I was ready to guard it with everything I had.
