Rain sat on his bed, staring at his phone, hoping for a message, a missed call, anything from Phayu. It had been days since they'd last seen each other, a night filled with tenderness, where Phayu had been soft and caring, holding Rain close in a way that made him feel safe. That night, Phayu had even whispered those rare, gentle words, "I like you, Rain." many times.

But now, Phayu's silence was deafening. Rain had tried to stay patient, convincing himself that Phayu was just busy. Yet each day that passed without a word tore at him, making him question everything. He had told himself they were finally on the same page, that Phayu felt the same. But if that was true, why hadn't Phayu called?

Finally, Rain couldn't take it anymore. His fingers hovered over Phayu's name on his phone before he pressed 'call,' heart pounding as he waited. The ringing stopped, only for him to see a notification pop up:

Message : "On a business trip for 15 days. Very important. Busy. Don't disturb me."

Rain read the message again, feeling the words like a slap. Don't disturb me. After everything, that's all he had to say? No explanation, no warmth, not even a hint of acknowledgment.

How could he leave without telling me? He could have at least sent a message or called to let me know or Met me once before going. I didn't even know he was out of the city. Rain thought, feeling deeply hurt.

He dropped the phone, clenching his fists as waves of hurt washed over him. He couldn't understand it, one night, Phayu was gentle, pulling him close and whispering sweet words, and now he was cold, distant, as if that night had meant nothing. Rain's thoughts spiraled, his heart aching with a mix of anger and longing. Am I really that easy to push aside? he wondered, blinking back tears.

How could you be so sweet one moment and then shut me out the next? Rain's mind screamed with frustration. He wanted to hate Phayu for treating him this way, for making him feel small and unimportant. Yet, despite his anger, he couldn't deny how much he missed him. Every part of him ached to see Phayu, to have him close, even if he was difficult.

But the questions haunted him. Is this what I want? Rain thought, his heart heavy. How could I fall for someone who's so good at tearing me apart?

He picked up his phone again, staring at the last message from Phayu. His thumb hovered over the delete button, but he couldn't bring himself to do it. Rain sighed, a tear slipping down his cheek. He was too far gone, too deep in love to walk away, no matter how much Phayu's actions hurt him.

All he could do was hope, hope that Phayu would come back, explain, and show him the side he had seen that night. For now, Rain had to face the truth, that he was falling for someone who had the power to break his heart in a way no one else could. And it terrified him.

His mind replayed the last few days over and over, but he couldn't understand how things had changed so suddenly.

He took a deep breath, feeling the sting of tears welling up in his eyes. If he's not thinking about me... then why should I keep waiting for him? he thought, swallowing the ache that rose in his throat. The answer only brought more hurt, but he knew he couldn't keep letting Phayu's silence break him down.

Determined, Rain wiped his eyes with the back of his hand, pushing away the tears that refused to stop.

"I hate this, Phi Phayu,"

He whispered, his voice shaky but resolute.

"I won't call you again. Not anymore."

The words felt heavy, but he repeated them, almost as if saying them would help his heart let go. With a shaky sigh, he forced himself to look away from his phone and focus on other things, his studies, his friends, anything to keep his mind from drifting back to Phayu.
