3rd person POV:
Gracie's fingers pushed against the keys, her fingertips bending back slightly and turning white. The deep comforting notes echoed around the room, sticking to every surface, sinking into bones.
"I like that, could you play it back i'll record it!" Taylor smiled at Gracie and picked up her phone, starting a voice memo without even looking. Gracie nodded, still starstruck. (And slightly drunk.) Her fingers pranced delicately on the keys again and Taylor murmured a tune under her breath.
"We should write something shouldn't we?" Gracie picked up her wine glass, swirling the crimson liquid in the glass. Watching it splash gently against the walls of clear material.
"We seriously should. There's a reason I chose you to open for me, you're amazing! Also don't swirl the wine around too much cause before you know it it'll be all over your clothes," Taylor giggled, opening the notes app to jot down lyrics.
"Do you prefer using devices or notebooks to write?" Gracie scanned the room for a piece of paper to write on, preferring to read her handwriting instead of a screen.
"Honestly I don't mind, just do whatever we have."
"Ok, do you have a notebook or paper by chance?"
Taylor put her phone down on the piano, walking across the music room and reaching up to grab a box full of notebooks off the shelf of a bookshelf. Dumping it on the floor she pulled out a few of a different array of colours.
"What colour, Gracie?"
Throwing her legs off the piano pedals Gracie strolled over to the notebooks.
"Yellow, I think it fits the album I want to make!" Taylor promptly handed her a small yellow notebook from the book, disregarding the few books on the floor with a quiet 'Eh, I'll get it later'
Sitting back down at the piano, Gracie copied down her melody onto the paper. Taylor observed her from a chair she had pulled over, resting her head on her fists. The melody scratched the room, leaving the footprints of itself on walls as it traced the room. Sliding into every nook and cranny. Every crevice was full. Every corner. Every hidden place. Even every not-so-hidden place.
"It's beautiful you know," Her voice was almost silent, a whisper.
"Thank you," Gracie smiled, her eyes scrunched slightly and teeth for show.
"Should we give it some lyrics?" Taylor pulled the chair closer awkwardly, trying to grabble the front of it while keeping her dress out of the way.
"Mhm," Gracie murmured a small agreement, placing the notepad on the piano. Her fingers danced across the keys again.
