Kei: whispering to herself, captivated "What... is this? How could something so powerful be left here?"
A dark voice echoes faintly in her mind.
Dark Voice: "I am the answer to your fears... the power to protect everything you love. Accept me, and you shall never have to worry again."
Kei: hesitating, but her hand reaches toward the crystal, almost involuntarily "What's happening to me? I... I want to resist, but... the power..."
Dark Voice: whispering insistently "Do you not wish to save them? To make them stronger than any threat? Only with me can you keep them safe, forever."
Kei's eyes darken as she lets the crystal's energy seep into her. A sudden, chilling transformation overcomes her—her wings' light dims, and a shadow fills her heart.
