Aether sits alone in the sanctuary, feeling a strange sensation in his chest. He focuses, his senses expanding across space and time. He glimpses a vision of Kei, her aura corrupted by the crystal's energy.
Aether: gasping, pulling back in horror "No... no, this can't be true. Mother... what's happening to you?"
He runs to his siblings, desperate to share what he's seen.
Aether: to Nova and Zephyr "I saw something... something dark. Mother—she's changing. Her light, it's... it's being consumed by something terrible."
Nova: sternly, taking Aether's hands "Slow down, Aether. Tell us exactly what you saw."
Aether: voice trembling "There's a shadow around her heart. I think it's connected to that strange crystal she found. I felt it... she's slipping away from us."
Zephyr: clenched fists "If something's hurting her, we have to stop it. Whatever it takes."
