Teri: calling out "Kei! I'm here."
Kei's gaze sharpens at the sight of Teri, her love but also her pain reflected in her eyes.
Kei: voice trembling "Teri... I... I tried to make us safe. I couldn't... I couldn't lose you all."
Teri: stepping closer, a warm, steady light radiating from him "Kei, you don't have to carry this alone. I'm here. I always will be."
He places his hand on her chest, where the crystal pulses darkly. As he channels his own energy, the crystal begins to crack, the darkness recoiling at the pure light.
Dark Voice: screeching "No! You will be nothing without me. You will fall, and they will abandon you."
Teri: softly "Kei, remember who you are. Remember us. Together, we're stronger than any fear."
The crystal shatters, releasing a burst of dark energy. Kei collapses as the darkness leaves her, tears streaming down her face.
Kei: whispering, her voice fragile "Teri... I'm so sorry. I let it take me."
Teri: holding her close "You're here now. That's all that matters."
The children gather around, their hearts relieved yet still heavy as they watch their mother, now freed from the crystal's influence but haunted by her actions.
