Teri: gazing at the sky "It feels like we've finally found peace, Kei. Our children... they've grown stronger than we ever imagined."
Kei: smiling faintly, though shadows linger in her eyes "Yes... but peace is fragile. I can't help but wonder, Teri, how long it will last. How long before something... or someone... tries to take it from us?"
Teri: softly, reaching for her hand "Whatever comes our way, we'll face it together, like we always have. You and I have seen worlds rise and fall. We've survived every battle, and this is our reward."
Kei: pulling her hand away, distracted by a distant feeling "Maybe you're right... but I can't shake the feeling that it isn't enough. Sometimes, I feel a power calling out to me, something that would ensure we'd never have to worry again."
Teri gives her a concerned look but decides to let it go. They walk back toward their sanctuary, unaware of the ancient crystal resting nearby.
