And It was coming for her.

For her Children.

"RUN!"

Carmilla Carmine, Weapon Dealer of Angelic Steel, held her daughter's over her shoulder's as she ran as fast as she could away from the white smoke. She knew not what it was, only that it had come from the sky. And that it was like the hand of death itself.

She Remembered Little About Her Life, Only that she had seen this smoke once before. Long Ago... So Long Ago that she had forgotten. As she had most of her human life. All she knew, were the word's that entered her mind, the commands that promised safety.

"Take a Lamb, and with It's Blood, Mark the Lintel of every door..." Her Mouth moved automatically, remembering the word's of a Man whose name and face she no longer recalled. Her eyes darted around wildly, the Plague was fast approaching...

There.

Spotting a demonic lamb, and hoping that it would be enough, she grabbed it, and practically tore off it's head. "Mom?!" Her daughter, Clara, shouted in alarm, "Mom, What the fuck is that?!" Odette shouted. But Carmilla could barely hear them, her mind was solely focused on her mission, and completing it as fast as she could.

With the Blood of the lamb in hand, she ran to the nearest room, not caring how large or what it was, and dragged her hand across it's posts and edges.

The Plague was growing closer. Now she could hear it.

"For Tonight... I shall pass through the land of ꑀꁅꐔꉣꋖ... And Smite All the Firstborn" Carmilla continued to speak robotically, like she was possessed. Grabbing her children by the neck's, she shoved them into the room with the lamb stained blood, and closed the door tight. Then, with frantic eyes, she closed all of the window's as tightly as she could, and huddled over her children, both of which were now extremely afraid.

"Mom..." Clara whispered "What's Happening? What are you doing?" Odette wondered. "But, When I see the blood upon your door, I will pass over you... And the Plague Shall Not Enter..." Carmilla finished. The Unseen string's that had held her up seemingly be cut, as she fell down unconscious to the ground. Her daughter's catching her and screaming her name. But the last thing that Carmilla saw, was the light of the Plague, passing over, but not in, the room.

-Location: Heaven-

For the First Time in thousands of years, the lights of Heaven Dimmed.

For the First Time in the Hundreds of Thousands of Years that it had existed, Heaven Mourned.

For the First Time in History, a Funeral was held in Heaven.

The Once White streets, filled with joy and smiles, were now as dark as the hearts of its residents. Clouds covered the skies of Heaven, but the rain did not come from the skies, but rather from the eyes of the mourning residents.
