Some time had passed since my interaction with Sunghoon in the kitchen. It was now closer to around ten o'clock at night and I was sat on my bed in thought. My mind raced and replayed the interaction too many times to count, going over just about every single prominent detail. I couldn't wrap my head around the fact he had asked me or more so told me to hangout with him instead of Heeseung. The slight flirting, the borderline jealousy, it all had my brain scrambled. There was no possible way he could have meant any of it though and this I knew, or maybe I wanted to act like I did. There was no possibility on earth that Sunghoon would ever feel that type of way towards me, considering he has about five girls in his messages right now alone. Not to forget my brother. It was all just too much to bear and as the time ticked closer to the eleven o'clock mark I pushed the thoughts further and further away.
I was wearing a black satin mini dress, one of the nicer outfits I have considering I don't go out too much. I paired it with matching black heels, and my makeup was natural and soft. I didn't want to sweat it all off in a hour. My hair was down and as I stared in the mirror I grinned faintly at myself. My head tilted to the side, making sure my outfit was put together. Within the minute my phone had began to ring, I rushed over to my bed to grab it. It was Yeji.
"Hellloooooo! Are you ready?"
she had exclaimed, the sound slightly muffled which i took as a indication she was in her car.
"Yes. I'm just waiting now. I think the boys are still over in Jake's room butttt... parents are at work."
I explained to my best friend, walking over to grab some of my perfume to spray it on me. A finishing touch to getting ready.
"So I just need to worry about one of them walking out but I think i'm good. They are playing video games or something."
I placed the bottle down on my dresser and picked my phone up again, waiting for a response.
"Okay sounds good! I'll be there in two minutes so come out and please be careful."
My best friend begged, I giggled quietly at her worrisome tone as I spoke,
"Sure. See you soon! Love you."
I ended the call after hearing Yeji reply back with a quick love you too. I held my phone in my hand, quietly stepping infront of my door. My hand reached down gently opening it up silently as I slipped out of my room. I almost tip-toed my way down the hall, essentially holding my breath. I stopped however when I noticed the door to Jake's room open. I stood there frozen, hoping that it wasn't my brother or Sunghoon.
"What the actual fuck... are you doing wearing Prada at eleven o'clock at night."
Jay whispered silently to me outside the closed door, purely confused at the situation I had put us in.
I sighed of relief at seeing his face, shaking my head as I snuck past him quietly.
"I'm going to Heeseung's party with Yeji. I'm sneaking out please do not tell my brother. You need to cover for me."
I begged the male in a hushed whisper.
"Heeseunggg?..."
He smirked at me and raised his eyebrows up.
"Don't worry I got your back. You better tell me how the party is later. Now go before your brother comes out."
I grinned at Jay's reaction, mouthing a small thank you before quickly moving down the steps as silently as I could.
Once I had made it outside of my house Yeji had pulled up across the street, momentarily putting the car in park for me to get in. Perfect. I rushed over to the passenger side and sat into the car, a excited squeal leaving me and Yeji's lips.
"I cannot believe you actually did this wow. I taught you well."
she spoke, pretending to shed a tear while wiping her cheek which made me laugh.
"I figured why not. I can't stay in my room for the rest of my life."
I explained to her as she pulled away from my house, beginning to drive to Heeseung's home which in comparison to mine wasn't too far away.
