(MATURE CHAPTER:
READ AT YOUR OWN ADVISE.)

I blinked slowly, the words Sunghoon had spoke to me making my heart feel as if it had fluttered. He flickered his eyes down to my lips and back up to my eyes, searching for an answer to leave my mouth.
"What?..."
I questioned him in a soft mumble, my ears not believing what had come from his mouth just moments before.
"I like you. I always have, Y/N."
He admitted to me, his hand moving from my face and to his lap as he let out a deep exhale. My eyes frantically searched his face and his expressions, looking for any sign of a joke. It didn't happen. I was now basically sober, the words he spoke causing my stomach to flip. He sat in the drivers seat, looking down to the steering wheel with a hint of annoyance. I could only guess it was from my lack of words.
"Hoon.."
I managed to speak out, turning to face him. His eyes darted up to my frame as I leaned forward from my seat. I don't know what had came over me in the moment, if it was the traces of alcohol left in my system or the fact that i'd been waiting for that very moment since middle school, I wasn't too sure.
"Just forget it. I'll take you ho-"
My lips had gently cut off his words as they were placed on his mindlessly. He paused for a second before his lips moved against mine, my hand moving up his chest to grip on his hoodie. Sunghoon had broken the kiss for a second, only to slide his hand down my side and hold it with the most tender touch. Our lips were a few centimeters apart from each other, our breathing heavy.
"Sit up."
He muttered in his honey-like tone and I listened without hesitation, sitting up further in my seat. He traced his other hand to my opposite side, helping me over the center counsel of the car to sit down onto his lap. He wasted no time in placing my lips back on his, his cold touch had shifted up to hold the side of my neck as he smiled into our kiss. I noticed his smile which caused me to do the same like instinct. Goosebumps had raised on my skin from his touch while my hands stayed on his chest, making their way up to his hair to grip it lightly. Our lips moved against each others with need, my head moving to the side to deepen the kiss between us as Sunghoon moved his hand off my neck. There was barely any space between us in the moment, his grip pulling me close while his hands moved over my body. We stayed like that for a moment, our lips fighting against each other's passionately before I had felt Sunghoon pull away with a soft pant. I frowned a little at the vacant feeling.
"I wish we could keep going but..."
He started to speak, his thumb rubbing over my bottom lip as I stared at him with gentle eyes.
"You drank a lot tonight. I don't want to do anything if you aren't sober. Okay?"
I nodded to his words with a little smile, kissing his thumb as he hummed in response and moved his hand away.
"I like you too.. but we can't do this."
I admitted, sliding my hands out of his hair to rest on my thighs, playing with the hem of his hoodie. Sunghoon watched me, furrowing his eyebrows.
"Why not?.. Your actions just said differently."
Hoon watched my hands as he waited for a response, holding my legs.
"My brother, Sunghoon. You know how he would react if he found out you even picked me up tonight. There's certain rules you just can't break."
I said, he rolled his eyes slightly which caused me to look up at him. His gaze was on mine,
"We shouldn't."
I protested unwillingly, moving away from his frame slightly. My breath was shaken as I spoke.
" Why not?"
he questioned, gently pulling me back to him.
"I think those rules should be broken."
I laughed out quietly at his words, moving my arms to lay around his neck.
"Oh really? How would we even do anything? Jake is over my shoulder like twenty four seven."
Sunghoon clicked his tongue, shrugging.
"We will just need to be careful and keep it between me and you.
Friends but more than friends when it's just us."
he explained to me, I hummed in response as I turned to look out the window of the car.
"Fine Sunghoon."
I gave in, looking back to him as I couldn't help but let out a small smile before rolling my eyes playfully. I moved off his lap, getting back to the passenger seat. Sunghoon frowned, sitting up as he mumbled.
"Why did you move? We still have time."
I clicked my seatbelt on as I replied,
"We have time until Jake realizes both of us are gone. How did you even get out without anyone saying anything?"
I questioned as Sunghoon started up the car after putting his own seatbelt on. He laughed, looking in the side mirror closest to him as he pulled out of the parking spot.
"Your brother got a little drunk because Jay and him were doing this game. I was just supervising though."
He insisted while he drove, moving a hand off the wheel to rest on the gear stick. The red lights from the stop light ahead illuminated the car, casting a glow onto us as the car came to a stop.
"So they are both passed out in his room right now. I was cleaning up when you texted."
I nodded in response before shaking my head at my brother's actions. Sunghoon looked over to me a grin on his lips.
"I was actually going to ask you if you wanted to watch a movie or something. Didn't know you snuck out to hangout with that loser."
I scoffed at his words, moving a hand down to my phone to check the time. 3:00.
"I actually went to hangout with Yeji and Keeho but basically got ditched. What was I supposed to do?"
I questioned, Sunghoon continuing the drive as the light turned green.
"Well.. that's your first mistake. Thinking Keeho and Yeji out of all people wouldn't leave you."
The male laughed, his smile bright while his eyes stayed on the road ahead.
"Hey. You don't get to talk i've seen you leave multiple girls alone that you bring to our parties. You are just as bad."
I defended my friends with a giggle.
"That's because those girls aren't important to me, really."
he bargained as he pulled into the driveway of my house. Quick drive.
"If it was someone important to me i wouldn't. Probably."
Sunghoon turned the car off before unbuckling, my actions following close behind while I teased his words back at him.
"Probably? Yeahhh.. okay."
I opened my door quietly, standing up from the car as Sunghoon had already gotten out. Fast as fuck for what.
"Mhm. Yeah. Now come on."
We started to walk to my front door once Hoon had come over to my side of the car, his fingers intertwining with mine. I held onto his hand, watching him unlock the door with one of our spare keys Jake had given him awhile back. Best friend things? I guess?

I kicked my heels off onto our shoe mat close to the front door not particularly caring where they landed. Hoon had taken his jacket off, hanging it up with all the others on the wall. I looked to Sunghoon before beginning to walk up the stairs as silently as I could.
"Huh? Where are you going?"
He asked in a whisper as he followed behind me.
"To my room and you are coming with me. Just stay in my room tonight and get up before Jake does and go to his room. You'll be fine."
I promised all while Sunghoon sighed, falling into my plan as he agreed. Following behind me, he moved a hand on my lower back as we walked down the hallway past Jake's room. So far so good. I held my breath, taking slower steps before I reached my room and pulled the door open. We both walked in, Hoon closing the door behind us with a small click just as he locked it. Looking through my drawers I found a t-shirt and a pair of shorts to change into out of the god forsaken dress I was ready to get out of. Hoon slid off his hoodie, tossing it onto my desk chair which left him in a plain black tee.
"You can just get into bed. I'm gonna change."
I informed while he gave a nod as a reply, moving some of my pillows to get into the sheets. I walked over to my bathroom and into the area, closing the door behind me. I slid off my dress, throwing it into my laundry basket before I changed into my other clothes.
A few minutes later I walked out, my eyes landing on Sunghoon as he laid in my bed, on hand on his phone as he scrolled through it while the other was behind his head against a pillow. I turned off my light, the warm lights around my room making the now darker area a little brighter. I moved my sheets, crawling into my bed under them.
"Night, Hoon."
I mumbled, looking over to him as he glanced up from the screen. He tossed his phone to the side somewhere on my bed before he had wrapped an arm around me. I gave in, not necessarily expecting him to want what he was doing at the moment. I moved right against him to lay my head on his chest, his arms were around me and his breathing relaxed.
"Goodnight, Y/N."
He said quietly, a tiny smile on his lips and with that we began to fall asleep.
What a weird night.
