Tristan's pov~

It's been one week from that incident and I now realized that I am fucked up very badly. Fucking badly that I don't have any idea whag to do next.

Tara wasn't here for one week but still she was always around I don't know how but she was. I tried to control myself from stalking her but I couldn't help it and after stalking a little I found out that her grandfather got a heart attack that's why she took the leave and here I thought that she took a leave because all the things that happened at the rooftop between us.

"Sir, we contacted Ms.Ahuja she said she needs some time." Neva informed although I already knew that she will say the same thing.

I just nodded my head at her.

"Umm sir if she doesn't confirm anything within the next two days we have to terminate her internship as per our rules." Neva said hesitantly.

A flow of curse flowed through my mind.

Neva left from there. I closed my eyes thinking what to do now because as far as I know her she won't return until her grandfather is alright.

"Bro you are fucked up." Alex says as his expression became surprised.

"You are seriously changing the whole rule of this company just for her." Smith says with wide eyes.

I sighed.

"Well, I know that she wont be back untill her grandfather is alright and as I checked through his health background I don't think he will be alright soon and I don't want her to lose this internship which she must have worked really hard for." I closed my eyes leaning back on the chair a little. My little star is fucking my mind up right now. Great. Absolutely great.

Although I have said that I don't care about her now but I know better than that. She won't just leave my mind. Making me always remembere the first time we met how we collided into each other. That white suit with a little embroidery of red and yellow, her open hairs that smelled like lavenders, that small white earrings adoring her ears. Heck I remember every single details about our first meet.

"Dude you did a background check on her grandfather's health issue?" Alex said surprised.

I just nodded my head. I heard both of them sigh.

"So we all know that you will do this only but think a little won't that make anyone suspicious." Smith said.

I slowly opened my eyes and looked at both of them.

"See I don't give a fuck about what people think." I said in an nonchalant tone.

Smith sighed while shaking his head. "Buddy you say something to him." He said while looking at alex then at me.

Alex nodded his head and opened his mouth to say something but closed it as soon as his phone pinged with a message making him smile wide on its own.

My eyes widened looking at the sudden smile on his face. He never smiles like that well chaht is an exception in that criteria.

I tilted my head towards smith direction and saw his hand in the air to snatch alex's phone.

"What the fuck" Alex's smiling face turned into an beast one at the speed of light.

Before alex could process anything smith started reading the messages out loud.

"You are cute and lov--" before he could finish that sentence alex punched him hard.

Smith fell down on the floor with a shocked expression. Alex snatched his phone from Smith's hand and sat on the chair back calmly looking at his phone again.

I looked at smith and couldn't help but chuckle at his state.

"Now get up alreday you drama queen." I said holding back a smile.

These two always makes me laugh even at my lowest and I know i wont admit it infront of them but they both are my borthers more than just best friend.

Smith got up and dusted off the invisible dust from his butt.

He sat on the chair with a huff.

"Put your phone down Mr. I-am-in-love." Smith said with a bit of arrogance in his voice.

Alex looked up from the phone and stared at smith for good two minutes before looking back into his phone.

"Youu--"

Smith was interrupted with a knock.

"Come in" I said. Neva cane in with some files in her hand.

She came and putted the file on the table and said "Sir these are the files that you asked for and the metting room is ready. Everyone is already present there"

I nodded my head and she went from there.

"What are the companies law files doing here?" Alex asked his eyebrows knitted together in Confusion.

I smirked and said "Come to the meeting both of you." Saying this I got up and left from there to go to the meeting room.

As I enetered I saw both of them already there while smith was having a grin on his face.

I sat on the head chair and said "So as you all know that this meeting wasn't planned but there is something very important that I have to announce to all of you. As you all know that the new intern teams that are not so new now since it's 6 months alreday to them. I would like to announce a short break for them for like 1 month. I know it has never happend before but now it is happening."" I finished and saw everybody's reaction well it was just the team of interns and the team managing their cases since it's only there short break.

They all looked happy with a bright smile.

As my eyes went in the direction of smith and alex I saw both of them smirking at me. Bastards.

I got up and left the meeting room with both of them.

"Woah woah woah. The great tristan harper did something that has never happened in the history of The Wayne Enterprises." Smith said excitedly as he barged in my office followed by alex behind him still with that idiotic smirk.

I rolled my eyes and took the file in my hands and started to read it.

"We told you that it will create suspicion so you fucking declared a short break for all the interns that too for 1 month. You are whipped bastard." Alex said.

"Says who? " I replied back.

Hearing this alex's face became red.

Smith came beside me and putted his hand on my shoulder before saying "Buddy! Don't you think that our Alex is not ours anymore. He was not this pookie back then. "

I jerked smiths hand off my shoulder and said "Well, the credit goes to chaht."
