Namjoon held a leather whip in his head and slowly walked here. He slowly noticed Lisa on the side.

Suddenly seeing a stranger, Namjoon slowed down even more and studied her.

But then after thinking about it, it wasn’t unusual for a man to show up with a woman, so his first sentence changed to, “This is?”

He pointed to Lisa.

Without waiting for Jungkook to speak, Lisa spoke first, “Hello Mr. Guan, I am Zheng Lisa, a reporter from ‘Finance Weekly.'”

“Oh, ‘Finance Weekly’…” Namjoon nodded, “I think I heard of you. I read a few of your articles before. They’re well written and in-depth. I didn’t expect that the reporter is such a young lady.”

She didn’t know whether this compliment was because Jungkook was here, but Lisa still accepted it.

She raised her head and smiled, “Thank you, I will continue to try to improve.”

After a brief introduction, Namjoon looked at his guests and said cheerfully, “I didn’t prepare well enough because I thought you were coming alone. Few ladies appear in a shabby place like this.”

Hearing this, Lisa knew that he had misunderstood why she was here with Jungkook and probably thought that she had a special relationship with him.

Lisa lowered her head, rubbed her fingers quietly, and quickly processed through thoughts in her mind.

“Uncle Nam—”

“Oh my god!”

As soon as Jungkook spoke, the woman next to him shrieked.

Jungkook turned her head around and found Lisa looking around awkwardly with a face full of surprise. “What a beautiful place this is!”

While speaking, she glanced around as her hair was blown up by the wind. “These horses are also so beautiful!”

She looked like an innocent girl being drawn into this scenery.

Lisa felt like her acting skills deserved an Oscar.

Interrupted, Jungkook didn’t continue talking. He frowned and studied Lisa thoughtfully.

“These aren’t even my best horses,” Namjoon went along with her. No matter how wealthy a person was, at such an age, it was normal for them to show off their treasures. “The good horses are still in the back.”

“There’s more?!”

Lisa pretended to be curious and expectant. Namjoon looked at her and then placed the whip in his hand away. He waved to the two of them, “Let’s go.”

After Namjoon finished speaking, he turned and walked in, leaving Lisa and Jungkook behind.

In such an open space, the wind felt particularly strong, whirring through the woods.

The person beside her didn’t speak, but Lisa could feel him looking at her.

With Namjoon’s status, she was certain that Jungkook wouldn’t introduce her the way she wanted. Trying to prevent a drama from occurring, she purposefully spoke first.

But he was staring at her in such a way that every second seemed to be stretched infinitely.

Lisa’s breathing was a bit uneven. She held her hand against her back as her index finger moved nervously. After waiting for a few seconds, she looked toward Jungkook.

Sure enough, their eyes met.

Lisa blinked and smiled, as if saying, “Guan Namjoon invited me, what’s wrong?”
