The 500 meters distance leading out the stadium took a good seven or eight minutes of driving.

After crossing the intersection, the cars scattered to different sides, and the road suddenly became a lot more clear.

When Jungkook drove, he liked to lean back in his chair relaxingly. Although he didn’t put much strength on the steering wheel, the car was fully in his control.

On top of that, the current speed of the car was actually very fast.

Lisa clenched tight onto her seat belt as she sat upright. She stared at the fast-changing view in front of her, not daring to even turn her head.

Until he saw a red light at the next intersection, Jungkook finally stepped on the brake and then turned his head slowly.

Although he didn’t speak, nor was Lisa looking at him back, she could guess what he was trying to say through his eyes.

Lisa looked straight ahead, blinked her eyes calmly, and said, “Let me think for a bit longer.”

“Okay.”

Jungkook placed his hand on the steering wheel and looked at her with a faint smile, “Are you done making your story yet?”

Lisa: “Don’t worry, even tests are ninety minutes long.”

Jungkook didn’t reply. His focus returned to the road.

Watching the car rushing on the streets, Lisa suddenly thought of something.

Where are we going?

She took a glance at Jungkook and saw that he seemed too lazy to pay any attention to her. So she decided not to ask and silently closed her mouth.

In the quiet environment, Lisa slowly reached down and rubbed her ankle as she took deep breaths.

“Ouch, it really hurts.”

“Be quiet.”

“Oh……”

——

The rest of the ride was in complete silence.

The car slowly left the downtown area, drove on to the viaduct, and crossed the river. They entered a place where it was mostly green; the number of buildings decreased significantly.

Therefore, Lisa clearly saw the big neon-lighted characters in the distance, “Jiang City-Hemu Hospital”.

She blinked and turned to look at Jungkook.

Jungkook didn’t seem to notice her look as he slowed down and steadily drove into the parking lot.

After parking, Jungkook unfastened his seat belt, opened the door, and got out of the car. Then he walked to the passenger seat.

He pulled the car door, leaned half of his arm on it, and looked down at Lisa.

“Get out.”

Her guess was proven wrong. Jungkook still got a tiny bit of sympathy left for her.

Lisa wanted to smile, but she also wanted to maintain her painful appearance, so she held her smile back.

She only stretched out one leg and placed it on the ground, but she didn’t get out.

“My feet hurt. I can’t stand up.”

Jungkook just looked at her.

As long as he didn’t say anything, in Lisa’s eyes, it wouldn’t count as a no.

The night air was wet and cold. The plants had just been watered and the ground was filled with a misty feeling.

“I can’t walk either.”
