Stef thought for a second. "BRANDON!" she called from where she was but she didn't get an answer. She walked to the place she thought he'd be, Callie's room. Her door was shut. She opened the door and Brandon was sitting on Callie' s bed looking out at the snow. He didn't even hear her come in. "Hey B..." Stef said and he turned around "Hey mom." Stef went and sat next to him. "What ya doing in here?" Stef asked...Brandon was quite. "Nothing...Just thinking. Did you talk to that lady?" He asked "Yeah I did...We can see Callie in 2 days...but B...there's something else." "What...is Callie okay?" Brandon began to panic, "yeah yeah she's fine B calm down...but...Lena and I aren't sure if you should be there when we see her." Stef said "WHAT? Well why not mom." Brandon said "B it's just the department head is going to be there to see how you all act together, and if he thinks there is something going on between you and Callie we can't get her back."
"So you don't think it would look suspicious if I was the only one not there?" Brandon said..he had a point. "B...I just don't want to have to ask you to do what you would need to do...it wouldn't be fair. To you or to Callie" Stef said putting her hand on Brandon's back "Well what is it...I'll do it if it means I can see her." Stef exhaled sharply..."B are you sure?" she said "Yeah I'm sure, I have to see her." Brandon said "...you...you guys have to act like you don't know each other...you have to act like strangers. You can't act too distant though and you can't be too close. You probably should avoid hugging her or anything like that. You know Lena and I always tell you, you should never have to hide your feelings or have to hide who you love. But you have to make it look like...you don't like her at all she has to be just another foster sister to you." Stef said "I can do it." Brandon said "You say that now Brandon but it'll be different when Callie is in the room with you and everyone else. "Mom...I can do it." Brandon said. Stef looked at her son..."Okay B...I believe you."
