He was finding himself getting changed day by day because of her.

The things that he hated before were now becoming closer to his heart because she liked them. These small wounds carried no importance to him in the past. He was used to of bearing the pain. As a spy, Masab had to work undercover and he was trained to help himself in dreary situations. Death was something very inevitable and welcoming for him. His life wasn't simple. He chose a complicated path where living calmly wasn't easy. Masab never feared death. He considered it a way to prove his loyalty to the work he did.

However since Andaleeb came into his life, things changed. And ever since she confessed her love for him, her care and affection for him was turning his world upside down. She wanted to live an eternity with him. She wanted a normal life with him. This was making his thoughts messed up. He wished for her to believe in his love and fall in love with him. Yet he didn't want her to strive for a future with him. That would only hurt her in the long run. He wasn't a man who could make a future with any woman. His work was against his. His devotion was against it.

He had once betrayed his cause for her. He had once lied about his honesty in the work he did for her sake. But now Andaleeb was again asking for another betrayal in the form of a happily ever after with him.

Yet betrayals didn't happen all the time. At last, one had to become honest, and maybe that was Masab's time to appear as one.

On her insistence, he had to arrive at a doctor's clinic. Right now, they were checking his wound. Her hand over his shoulder gave him the assurance and tranquility which Masab needed. Seeing her getting so worried for his well-being filled his heart with contentment. He never anticipated discovering Andaleeb one day falling head over heels for him so much that her every action and every expression would become a reflector of her feelings. Still, here it happened.

"Are you fine?" She asked him, squeezing his shoulder.

He placed his free hand over hers and nodded with a smile. "I am. Only because of you. You are my happy pill."

The nurse just smiled at this but didn't comment. Andaleeb bit her lower lip as her eyes filled with tears. Once his wound was bandaged again, she spoke what she had been hiding in her heart for a while.

"Don't love me so much, Masab. It scares me. The intensity of your love makes me feel that I am not good enough for you. I think so I am going crazy. At one point, I want your companionship, and at one point, I consider myself unworthy of you," she murmured, as they both sat inside the car.

He leaned ahead and kissed her forehead. "Ask my heart about your worth. My love will never make you apprehensive. It will be your perfect companion."

She pouted. "You and your love both. I want both."

"Of course, my love," he said, lovingly.

The surge of emotions increased so much in her heart that she cupped his face and then pressed her lips against his for a sweet and small kiss. Her tears finally broke the boundary of her eyelids and trailed over her cheeks. He narrowed his eyes, seeing her crying, before wiping her face with the pores of his fingers.
