I sat alone at home, feeling restless. Everyone had left for the market to prepare for Navratri. The Mehta family had departed, and mumma and papa were out shopping.

My mind wandered to the conversation earlier. Aryansh and I had been asked if we were ready for marriage. While Aryansh had eagerly agreed, I remained silent.

"Why does he want to marry me?" I thought, frustration creeping in.

Desperate for advice, I called my best friend, Sai. "Let's meet at the cafe. I need to talk to you," I said.

I quickly changed into blue jeans and a white t-shirt, grabbed my phone, and messaged Mom that I'd be late. I jumped into my BMW and headed to the cafe.

Sai was already seated, sipping coffee. As I sat opposite her, she bombarded me with questions:

"What's wrong?"
"You look tense."
"Is everything okay?"
"Why are you stressing me out?"
"Answer me, Gunnu!"

"SHUT UP!" I exclaimed, then composed myself. "Sai, I need your help."

Sai's concerned expression softened. "What's going on, gunnu? Tell me everything."

I took a deep breath, ready to unload my worries.

"Mom and Dad fixed my marriage," I whispered, trying to contain my frustration.

Sai's eyes widened in shock. "WHAT?!" she exclaimed, her voice echoing through the cafe.

"Shh, it's a cafe, not my house," I hissed, embarrassed. "Everyone's staring."

Sai leaned in, her voice softer. "Speak up, Gunnu. What's going on?"

I sighed, irritation bubbling up. "They fixed my marriage, and I don't want to marry yet." My voice trembled.

Sai's expression turned sympathetic. "Huh?" she murmured.

I fidgeted with my napkin. "You know, bhai is always there for me. I know my marriage should happen before his, but he's my brother, THE Ekansh Advani." I emphasized his name, feeling a mix of emotions. "And I know he knows I'm getting married." My voice cracked.

Sai reached out, placing a comforting hand on mine. "You're stressed, Gunnu."

I nodded, tears welling up.

"Listen, Gunnu," Sai began, her tone gentle. "I know Uncle and Aunty don't get along, and bhaiya has his differences with them. But this is about your marriage. I've seen how lonely you feel when you talk about bhaiya. Your parents are friendly and understanding; they'll choose someone suitable for you." Sai's words soothed me. "And bhaiya will be there for your marriage. You always say he's watching over you, keeping an eye on you. If he's there, he'll support you."

Sai's reassurance brought tears to my eyes.

"Thanks, Sai," I whispered, feeling a lump form in my throat.
