-You’d handled countless patients over the years, but Park Jay was different. His charm was undeniable, but there was an intensity in his gaze that made you feel both intrigued and uneasy.
On one particular day, as you enter the therapy room, you find Jay already seated, his eyes fixed on the door as if he’d been waiting for you.
"Hello, Mr.Park." you greet him with a polite smile, setting down your notes.
"Hello, doc.." he replies smoothly, his voice laced with warmth, yet there’s an edge to it that makes your heart skip.
You start the session, running through your usual questions, but Jay seems… distracted. His responses are clipped, his attention locked onto you rather than the conversation.
After a moment of silence, he finally speaks. "You know, I’ve been thinking a lot about you, even you got inside my dream.. Its make me insane" he says, leaning forward, his eyes never leaving yours.
You raise an eyebrow, keeping your tone neutral. "Jay, I want to remind you that therapy is a safe space to explore your feelings, but it’s important to keep professional boundaries. So I want—"
He chuckles, a soft, unsettling sound. "Tch—Boundaries, huh? You keep saying that word everytime we meet, but do you actually believe in them?" His eyes glint mischievously. "I think we both know there’s more here than ‘professional boundaries.’"
You feel a chill, but you keep your composure. "Jay, what you’re experiencing is common in therapy. Sometimes people project feelings onto their therapists, but those feelings often come from other parts of your life."
He smirks, leaning back in his chair, his arms crossed as he studies you. "You know, doc, I don’t think you believe that. I see the way you look at me. You want me too right??"
"Jay, this isn’t appropriate—"
"You’re here alone, aren’t you?" He interrupts, a daring look in his eyes. "No one else in the building right now? right?"
Your breath catches. How does he know that? You start to stand, but he moves quickly, blocking the door.
"Leaving already?" he murmurs, his gaze intense. "Don’t you want to hear what I have to say? After all, I came here just for you."
You swallow, trying to maintain control. "Jay, if you don’t move, I’ll have to call security."
A slow smile curves on his lips, and he takes a step back, though his eyes never waver. "Fine. But you can’t avoid me forever, doc. I’ll see you soon… closer than you think."
He finally leaves, but his words linger, echoing in your mind long after he’s gone.

That night, as you unwind at home, there’s a knock on your door. You glance at the clock; it’s late. Who could it be?
Opening the door, your heart sinks as you see Jay standing there, dressed casually, his expression soft yet somehow menacing.
"Jay? How did you—"
He smiles, tilting his head. "A little birdie told me where to find you. I just wanted to see you outside of that sterile office."
"Jay, this is crossing a line." you say, trying to stay calm, though every nerve in your body is on edge.
He steps closer, his gaze softening but remaining intense. "I just want to get to know you better. Is that so wrong?"
"Yes, it is." you reply firmly. "You need to leave, Jay. Now."
He pauses, a hurt look crossing his face before he quickly masks it with his usual charm. "Alright. I’ll go." But as he turns to leave, he glances back, his eyes filled with an unsettling determination. "But this isn’t over. You can’t deny what’s between us forever."
As the door clicks shut behind him, you finally let out a shaky breath, a mix of fear and something else you don’t want to acknowledge coursing through you.
