As everyone woke up, Vera asked, "Do you have any books here?"
"I don't think so," replied Charlie.
"I think I passed a bookstore on my way here!" said Vera.
"Who wants to come with me?"
"Me!" said Max, Vivian, and Matt.
They walked together to the library.
When they entered, they were surprised by how clean it was. Matt closed the door behind them.
The group was also amazed by the selection of books-except for Max, who visited regularly.
Soon after, they heard a noise.
"What was that?" asked Vivian.
"I don't know, but we need to stay quiet," whispered Vera.
Meanwhile ,at the school...
"So... Charlie, you like trying on different clothes?" asked Lottie.
"Yeah!" replied Charlie, awkwardly.
Lottie thought of something to say but couldn't find the words.
As they both stayed silent, the awkwardness grew.
Back at the library...
"Oh no... it's a line!" whispered Vivian.
"Shh... it'll hear you!" Vera whispered back.
She drew her katana and, with one swift move, slashed the line in half.
"How did you get so good with it?" asked Matt.
"Practiced a lot," replied Vera.
Afterward, they gathered some books and took them back to the school.
