Part 5: meeting his friends

MAYAS POV

Rowan wanted me to meet his friends so I said 'yes'. Sometimes I would lie and say I would but other times I actually did want to go, like this time.

We made it to 'Oliver's house' and Rowan knocked on the door. Oliver's house was medium sized but to me it was huge, considering I lived in a small house.

"Hey man, and girl" he says dabbing Rowan up but just smiling at me looking me up and down.

Was he seriously flirting with me in front of his best Freind?

"My name is Oliver" the boy shakes my hand.

"Hi" is all I responded with letting go of his hand.

"I'll introduce you to the crowd" Rowan says stepping inside.

When I stopped inside I noticed there house was really nice, we'll cleaned, really pretty and just perfect, the ideal home.

"This is Ava" Rowan says pointing towards a girl on the couch. she was about 5,7 blonde hair, and really pretty.

"Hey" she gets up and stands next to me.

"Just letting you know, these boys are a bit weird" she whispers in my ear making me giggle a bit.

"Thanks for the heads up" I whisper back letting another giggle out.

"What's so funny?" A boy comes out of the bathroom.
"Nothing" me and Ava laugh.

There goes this feeling again. I didn't know these people but I still felt at home with them.

"My name is Noah" he says dabbing me up, what am I a boy.

It's ok though because even though I only knew these people for five minutes but I feel like they are my family.

"Wanna maybe go out?" Noah asks us, shoot, I forgot about my CPS appointment today.

"Sorry I can today" i say and get my stuff that I set down.

"It was nice to meet you all" i say waving them off as I step outside.

"I gotta go too" I hear Rowan say from inside.

I see him come outside and run up to me.

"You have to go somewhere now to?" I say laughing as him as we walked.

"Yeah, CPS wanted to talk to me." Rowan says kicking a rock out of the way.

"Same" is at throwing my hands up.

We make it to the CPS building and we get taken inside to the ladies office, Tina's office.

"Hello you two, we called you here to tell you that our investigation is off" she takes her glasses off her desk and then puts them on.

"Really" I smile and so does Rowan.

"Yes, we have called it off because we noticed that nothing was actually happening" Tina explained.

They need to hire better people because there was stuff going on, but don't get me wrong I am happy we're done with this whole CPS thing.

"You are free to leave now" she waves us off.

I walk out of there in disbelief, how did this happen, who called it off, why'd hey call it off?

"Are you happy?" He asks me looking into my eyes, and I stop and look at him.

"Yes but, I can't believe this is happening" my eyes wide form the shock.

"We'll it's ok now, no more worrying that there going to take us away, no more worrying" he hugs me and I begin to cry form happiness.

"Wanna go to the party tonight?" He asks me as we start walking again.

"Sure, maybe I can get to know your friends more!" I smile making him smile, his smile is so cute.

"Sounds good" he replies as he walks me home.
