POV: Author
Fuuuck, this song fits perfectly with my story!!! (In my opinion, anyway) aaah!
Also... I'm scared I might drag you through hell, dear readers, just like Jes is trying with Bible.
Should I have mercy on you?
☽Did he see me? Did he? Jes's mind raced with the thought of Bible suddenly appearing in the forest. He was sure Bible had seen something, but luckily it had been dark—at least for human eyes. Hopefully.
He ruffled his hair and closed his eyes. What was he doing there? I thought he was asleep in his tent.
Jes's mind was a whirlwind, consumed entirely by Bible. He was on the edge of despair, unable to shake the intensity of that night.
Thinking about their kiss, Jes brushed his fingers over his lips, still feeling the lingering sensation.
It had been his first kiss.
As a demon, he'd certainly been with others before, but there was no kissing or tenderness—only something primal, like animals, perverse and dirty. No emotions, no softness.
But holding Bible in that tent, his hands exploring Bible's soft skin, he'd felt addicted, exhilarated. He wanted Bible to feel good; he wanted to keep touching him, again and again. And that sound—Bible's moan—it had made him feel intensely alive, completely consumed.
Things were becoming more complicated, and Jes had no answers for how to escape it. The real problem was that he didn't want a way out.
With all these thoughts weighing on him, his head began to ache. His forehead throbbed, and he felt weaker by the minute. Finally, he lay down, the exhaustion and confusion overtaking him as his body succumbed to the ache.
☽
The next day was a normal school day, and Bible felt both nervous and excited to see Jes again.
"Why do you look so glowy, though?" Fuaiz asked, wiggling beside him, always sensing everything. Bible ignored him.
"Bible, if you don't tell me, I'll be really sad," Fuaiz pouted with his usual dramatic flair.
"I... this isn't the right place to talk about it. Let's talk this evening, okay?" Bible replied, smiling as he walked into the classroom.
"Fine," Fuaiz muttered, stomping after him.
Mr. Jespipat wasn't in the classroom, and when the bell rang, he still hadn't shown up. Fifteen minutes passed, and still no sign of him. Hm, where is he? Bible wondered, and the other students exchanged confused glances.
The absent-minded professor strolled in, looking at the class. "Does anyone here have Mr. Jespipat's contact?" he asked, looking a bit puzzled. The students looked at each other, but no one replied.
"Well, we don't either; we forgot about the contact form, and it seems he won't be coming today. Anyway, Mr. Job Yosatorn will take over while we try to contact Mr. Jespipat. Maybe he overslept—it happens to everyone!" The professor chuckled, scratching his head, clearly thinking of himself.
Bible felt a bit confused, and also disappointed—he really wanted to see Jes. They hadn't spoken since their kiss.
"Don't look like it's been ten days of rain," Fuaiz chuckled, noticing Bible's thoughts drifting to Mr. Jespipat.
