They looked at Zero's sarcastic remark with somber expressions.
"All this way, just to find an unimaginable steep, deep and long crater that goes on for hundreds of kilometres. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if that's where the dark sea came from.
Well that aside it's getting dark I can understand your existential crisis.
Especially on you ice princess, you look like a stone statue right now" he chuckled as caws could be heard resounding in an echo.
Nephis gave him an annoyed glance but didn't say anything
They just sat there for a long time.
Both sleepers were crestfallen, they lost their goal right in front of them.
Seeing no natural high points in the distance meaning they couldn't hide from the crashing waves of the dark sea at night.
No way to find an gateway, they would die before that to the dark sea for sure.
"You know"
They heard the raven talk wondering if it was gonna be just another bad attempt to maybe lighten the mood.
"This isn't too bad"
They looked at him confused but fury slowly rising in their eyes.
"Look I understand, that you feel like all your efforts have been in vain.
But we still have the Oracle. Cassie,
Who is to say she wont have another vison bringing us to our way?
Who is to say there isn't a different approach to this?"
Now they looked at him their attention focused.
"What's.. there to say we wont get past this."
He slowly stood up as two dark stars were forming above his head.
And his voiced raised into a shout.
"If that is our will. Who dares stop us?"
A shiver resounding through their bodies even cassie who was down below with a frown could hear it as her body shook for a second.
'When nephis said that I thought it couldn't get any cooler.
What a show off'Sunny chuckled to himself as nephis had apparently the same thoughts as her shoulder silently shook, one could tell she was holding back a laugh.
A small fire of determination started burning seemingly getting them out their shock of the revelation.
"That's the spirit guy and girls.
Now let's get a move on, The dark is upon us!"
As they heard a rumble behind their backs.
Taking a look they saw how the crater rapidly filled up with water.
Water?
It looked too dark.
The dark sea filled up the crater as it overflowed and spilled over to every direction as it drowned everything.
The ashen barrow was luckily very massive, dwarfing the stone statue from before in the labyrinth in size and this tree was even more gigantic.
So even if it reached up to the barrow they could go up to the tree.
They were too tired last night to check up on that.
But they looked at zero who then turned to them.
"Don't look at me like that"
