Max's: POV

"It'd be fun if we could stay here and not move after one week." I said. "I promise that we won't move again." he replied. "Why can't we do normal things, like go bowling?" I asked.

"Do you like bowling?" asked Alaric. "I don't know, nobody has taking me." I said annoyed and got out of the car. I saw Vanessa and my heart was beating faster.

"Stay away from her." said dad. "Just because she has the rock style doesn't mean she's a vampire." I defened. "We're slayers, don't forget who you are." he said. "Maybe I don't want to be a slayer and vampires doesn't exist." I replied and went into school.

"Hey Max." said Vanessa with a smile on her face. "Hey." replied with a sigh. "Has something happen?" she asked worried. "I'm just tired of moving from one place to a new and never get the chance to make some friends." I said.

"I'd love to be your friend, we have the same clothing style and you're kind and funny." replied Ingrid. "Thank you." I said and she gave me a hug.

"Your skin is ice cold." I replied with a shudder. "I have a disease that makes my skin cold." she lied. "Poor you." I said. "It's okay." she repiled and we went to the art lesson together with Emily and Georgia.

I went out again and found Vanessa on the floor and I sat down next to her. She gave me a smile. I showed her my drawings and she was impressed. Vanessa is my first real friend.
