Korn talk
“did you see their faces?” Korn asks Lia while gently caressing her shoulders after knowing what happened to her parents.
“I did sir, but not all of them but i remember, they have this specific tattoo..”
Korn look at the young woman infront of her tilting his head after hearing the young girl’s statement
“really? Can you describe it?”
The young girl quickly nodded, and grab an empty piece of paper and a pencil while trying her best to draw the tattoo by memory.
“This, it’s like this.”
Korn took the paper on the girl‘s hand, the tattoo looked familiar..
“It looks familiar.. have I ever saw this...”
Korn keep the paper with the drawing, and hid it on his jacket, turning his gaze back to Lia who’s currently staring at the table looking troubled.
“why? What’s wrong N'lia?”
Lia looked up, Korn noticed her weary eyes trying to compress her feelings and preventing herself to cry
“I miss my parents phi...”
Korn looked at Lia with soft eyes, he remember his pasts the way he’s mom died in front of his eyes. He remembered his pasts where in his family used to be so happy, and healthy just like every typical family should be.
“Don't worry Lia, I am here you can always trust me.”
Korn hugged Lia tightly making sure that she feels comfortable and safe in his embrace, not long after Lia withdraw from the hug.
“thank you so much Phi, but I have to go now..”
“where are you staying?”
“My friend ka”
“Mm.”
Korn nodded and bid goodbye with the young poor girl, he looked at the door and Lia wave his hand to bid goodbye to him. Korn smile slightly.
Not long after, Inspector Samthon grab his shoulder softly
“What are you looking at?”
“nothing sir, I just.. bid goodbye to that poor girl, I really can relate to her about what happened to her parents, she doesn't deserve that”
Inspector Samthon just nodded his head as an agreement.
“anyways, did you get something from her?”
Korn turned his gaze to Inspector and took the paper out from his pockets.
“Yes sir, here, she said that she saw this tattoo on one of the criminals.. this tattoo is a big help to find the real culprit, it can’t be Prasert Family sir, since one of the Prasert Family member died on that incident.”
Inspector Samthon sigh in disbelief.
“But sir, I feel like I saw this tattoo somewhere else.”
