𝐌𝐄𝐑𝐄𝐃𝐈𝐓𝐇 𝐖𝐀𝐋𝐊𝐄𝐃 out of the kitchen of her parents' house, passing by her baby brother, Blake, who held her three-month-old daughter in her arms. "Here's a bottle. Do you want me to talk her?"

"No." Blake shakes his head, gently moving his arms around from his sister's reach, keeping his niece a good distance away as Meredith sits the bottle on the coffee table, "She doesn't want me to put her down. Isn't that right, Kenny?"

The blonde shakes her head with a laugh, patting him on the shoulder as she heads back outside, "Don't forget to burp her!"

"Okay!"

"How does Austin like it in Charleston, honey?" Leah asks as her daughter sits back down in her seat, watching as she started smacking Justin's hand away from the water bottle she was sitting on the table between them.

"He texted me about an hour ago before he had to film again." Meredith says, "He's not taking the whole separation from Kennedy lightly. Austin feels like he's not being a good father since he's away."

"Austin spent nine months waiting on you, hand and foot. And the first two weeks of her life, he was getting up when she woke up in the middle of the night." Wyatt spoke up, beer in hand.

"He does more than what most father's his age would be doing." Charles tells his daughter.

"Yeah, I know." She sighed, "I'm thinking about texting Drew since I have his number for emergencies. I think I'm gonna take Kennedy to Charleston to see him. I should be back
before we start filming for MTV."

"I'm sure that'll make him feel a whole lot better." Laura nodded.

"I'm hoping so."

"You don't worry about getting back here to film. Just take your time letting Austin see his baby girl. You can film any time before they wrap up." Charles tells his daughter, who nods her head.

"Mer!" Blake calls out as he carefully walks outside with Kennedy cradled in his arms, "I was burping her and she let out a good one, but I wanted to make sure she didn't puke down my back."

Once he turned around to show off the back of his shirt, the large group looks at each other with wide eyes, shaking their heads as he turned back around.

"Nope."

"Nothing there."

"You're good, bro."

"Can I hold her now?"

𝐀𝐔𝐒𝐓𝐈𝐍 𝐌𝐀𝐃𝐄 his way over to where Chase was sitting by his self, and sitting across from him, "Okay, what's your problem, man?"

"What?" Chase looks up from his phone, glancing around confused. "What are you talking about?"

"Obviously, I can tell that you have a problem with me, so tell me what it is." Austin shrugged, "I wanna be able to get through filming without anyone having a problem with me. So again, what's your problem with me?"

"I don't have a problem with you. I have no idea what you're even talking about, Austin."

"Seriously? I can see well when someone's looking at me as if they wish they had the power to make me disappear."

"Okay, you wanna know what my problem is? My problem is that you way to close with Maddie. Always smiling at her like she's the only girl in the world and making her laugh."

"Dude, I don't like Maddie like that. I'm a friendly guy and I get along with most of the people that I film with. Or at least I like to because I like being in an environment where we're all civil." Austin explains to him.

"Sure. I'll believe you when I see it." Chase rolls his eyes, "I know what liking somebody looks like."

With a roll of his eyes, Austin pulls his phone from his back pocket and slides it across the table where it was resting in front of Chase, "Tap the screen."

"What?"

"The screen. Tap my phone screen."

Chase huffs but does as he's told, his face dropping at the sight of Austin's lockscreen, "What?"

"That's Meredith. We've been together since we were thirteen years old. And that, chubby cheeked baby, is our three-month-old daughter, Kennedy." Austin smiles softly as he takes his phone back, "I was serious when I said that I didn't like Maddie like that."

"Dude. . .. I'm so sorry." Chase shakes his head.

"It's cool." He chuckled, sitting back in the chair he was sitting in, "Besides, we all have a bet going on for how long it'll take for you and Maddie to admit that you guys already caught feelings for each other."

"I don't. . . .I don't like Maddie like that." Chase denies, shaking his head.

Austin smirked, standing up, "Whatever you say, Chase. Whatever you say."
