Scrapped story bits

 Happy Halloween and here is a bit of a treat of sorts, this isn't a chapter but here are some ideas that I originally had for the story and scrapped. The first half was what would have been chapter 1 initially, but I didn't like the heavy dark tone it set off the bat and wanted a lighter story. The rest were bits and pieces that came to mind while writing here and there, but as the overall tone changed with how the story went I kinda just scrapped these ideas picking and choosing from them as I saw fit. Thank you for reading my story I have had a great deal of fun writing, and it makes my day knowing that people are enjoying it.

Here is a bit of a warning, suicide is more prominent than it is in the current story

  Amy grabbed the gun from her bedside drawer not wanting to leave the world without telling someone bye, she contacts Shadow believing he would be the least likely to stop her because of how cold and indifferent he acts towards those around him. He answers practically instantly she bawls out "Sh-Sh-Shadow" Shadow concerned by her greeting asks "Rose what's wrong" I-I don't think I can keep doing this anymore her sentenced stopped with intense sobbing I d-don't, I can't keep on going I w-want to die.' Amy chokes out in between tears. "Don't do anything rash Rose I will be there shortly, we can talk jus- 'a gun shot crackles from the other side of the call' ROSE! ROSE ANSWER ME DAMMIT" teleporting to the pink hedgehog's home in a wild panic he breaks down her bedroom door finding her on the ground curled up next to her bed shaking, as she continues to cry saying "I-I I couldn't do it, I'm such a worthless coward. You must hate me for wasting your time." kneeling beside her blood can be visibly seen pooling out of her head his panic begins to soar higher as he lifts her up thankful, she was still alive. Crying onto her he says "Why, why would you attempt such a thing Rose, I have lost enough friends as it is I am tired of losing please, please just tell me. "I-I-I felt like as if 'sniffles' no one would really care, that the only reason they ever called me a friend was solely because Sonic did but was Sonic even really my friend or did he only ever call me one because he thought I needed it. I felt like he was only my friend in title alone that the amount of how much he cared for me was only as someone he had to save because unlike me he is a hero." tightening his embrace Shadow pulls her closer crying out of pity for one of his few friends and out of joy she failed to take her own life choking out "Please R-Rose never do something like that again, and you are a hero you are my hero if not for you the altercations to my memory caused by Gerald would have never been undone I would have destroyed the world in an unjust suicidal vengeance. You have saved me in a way I could never save anyone you pulled me from the darkness of my mind, so if there is a wish of any kind that is within my power please let me grant it."

They embraced laying on the floor for what felt like ages never moving just sitting letting that last note hang in the air, her cries slowly stifled as she found comfort in his embrace weakly saying "I want to disappear, start a new life be someone else is that within your power?" Shadow gives a light hum dejectedly he says "Hmmm, yes it is Rose I will head down to G.U.N headquarters and pull some strings I am owed a few favors and with those favors the Amy Rose in my arms will be no more." "Thank you." Amy quietly mutters as she slowly falls asleep in his arms, Shadow begins to gently stroke her head running his fingers through her quills staring at what will surely be a scar he says "Let's go my delicate little WIldflower." With that Shadow teleports her to a Gun medical facility, making sure she is ok he carries her to a nearby medic he ask in a commanding voice "Where is dr. Stone?" the medic was quick to answer out of fear "Stone is down in the mess." with that said Shadow briskly makes his way to the facility's cafeteria. As he enters he spots Dr. Stone a large dark navy blue canine mobian at first glance she would appear to be a wolf but upon closer inspection her features are less pointed and more rounded indicating to be some breed of dog her hair was pulled back in a messy bun as she ate her lunch chatting amongst her colleagues, the light blue G.U.N issued med team uniform visible under her white frock. Noticing the dark hedgehog approach she let's out a low growl she says "What does that monster want?" when she asked her question everyone seated within ear shot turns towards the dark hedgehog as the metallic click of his shoes echo in the now silent atmosphere that would usually be filled with light hearted chatter. Approaching Shadow says "Dr. Stone I would like to cash in all the favors you owe me." knowing that he wasn't asking for her help she replies "Alright what are your demands?" looking down at the dog over Amy's sleeping form Shadow says "When she wakes up I would like you to give her a medical examination for both physical and mental well being, after that you will have to wait because you will not be able to proceed to the next part until I have the commander pay the favor I'm owed."
