Chapter 3: Credit Rock (Edited)

I woke up that morning with the biggest smile as I could smell the blueberry pancakes coming from the kitchen. I quickly get changed and rush downstairs to get my fill of them before they eat them all.

I grab a plate and put four on my plate right away and see David pout because I grabbed the last pancakes. Debra comes in with an apron on and a bit of flour on her face, she looks at us excited "So I know this is all hard to take in but David and I thought of a way to cheer you up. We're going to show you our shifter forms!" She says excitedly, Sydney squeals in the background and Alex shouts a loud "Yes!"

I nod my head excitedly, they go outside and we watch as their shift right there and then in their places are two large felines, a snow leopard and a cheetah. I look at them in awe as they come up and rub up against us purring as we pet and scratch their heads, then they go back to where they were and in a blink I see Debra and David. I put my hand in front of my eyes worried that they changed back naked like in all those werewolf books I've read.

I hear them laughing and I assume it's at me, I slowly remove my hand from my eyes and look at Debra and David who of which are fully dressed. I look down, face flushed red "It's okay Celina, it's understandable for you to do that. At least you had the idea of giving us privacy." Debra jokes "You guys should pack up and then we can go to the only store around here that sells shifter items" she says firmly and then looks towards Alex and Sydney "No phones or video games!" She tells them with a serious look in her eyes.

They both whine and groan about it while I run up to pack my things. I get all my horse riding and fencing clothes and put them in my suitcase, then I get my laptop and it's equipment and put it in a carry on bag. Then I grab my weapons cases and put all of my knives in first, then my guns, ammo, sharpening tools, axe, cross bow, my bow, and finally my arrows with my quiver.

It takes me up to an hour to pack all my weapons and thirty minutes to pack my clothes and other accessories, plus my trophies and awards. Lastly I pack my cheque safety into my bag, my bed stuff goes into a garbage bag.

Finally I shut my door and leave all my mundane memories behind, I drag my two suitcases down the stairs putting them into the same pile as my weapon case and weapons bag.

We all pile into the truck as we finish putting all out items into the back of the truck, we drive to a weird store that has a blank sign. But as I blink it's like my eyes readjust because soon the sign turns into 'Supernatural Bank', we walk in getting weird looks and as we look at some of the creatures working here, I know most definitely this is no place for a Human.

We go up to the front of the room to see a normal looking person, he has the name tag with the name written as 'Fredrick'. He looks towards us and smiles that's when I notice the sharp teeth and yellow eyes with black diagonal slits. "Hello my name isss Fredrick how may I help you?" He says drawing out the 's' in his sentences and his fork tongue flicks out. He looks towards Debra and David and smiles showing his big sharp teeth "Debra, David, are you here to make a withdrawal" he says his tongue flicking out during the end of his sentence.

Debra smiles "No Fred, we're here to get our children accounts" he looks at us intrigue.

"I never heard you had kidssss, though pardon my words but they look nothing like you and look to be a bit too old to be your actual kidsss." He says looking each of us over closely.

David laughs "Goodness no, we aren't that old. These are our adoptive children; Alex, Sydney, and Celina. It's going to be their first year at the academy." He says looking over us fondly.

Fredrick nods in understanding "ssso who'sss who and what are their lassst namesss" he states, we answer all his questions accordingly "now sssign here" he points where each of us need to sign "and give me your handsss" we do as he says and he sets up the credit rocks according to our finger prints.

"Now Debra and David have given you all one hundred traccasss is there anything you'd like to add" he says smiling.

I raise my hand shyly and he looks over to me and I take my cheque out of my bag and hand it to him. His eyes go wide when he reads the number "And what would you like done with thisss" he says still a bit wide eyed.

"I would like it to be converted to traccas and put into my account, but I would like to take three million off of that and add one million to each of my siblings and then five hundred thousand to both my adoptive parents." He nods and does what I say immediately.

"Thank you for your trust in us Miss Birch." He says when we leave, I smile at him kindly and leave.

I look at the credit rock in my hand and see the numbers 2,000,100§. I look down at the number in disbelief about how I could become so rich in such a short amount of time.

"Hurry up dear we're going to the clothing and supplies store. We have to get their before three o'clock or we'll never make it to the academy in time" David says, snapping me out of my daze. I nod and rush after them and hop into the truck ready to go do more shopping for this new supernatural school.
