Roaming the Wild: A Fox's Adventure

Introduction

     It was a cold and windy day in the forest, the clouds were gray and the sky was gloomy and somewhere out there was a sly red fox cub who wanted to play no matter the weather. The clouds were gray and heavy, it looked like it was about to rain, but did the red fox cub care? No, the red fox cub didn't care at all, even though it was cold and gloomy she still wanted to play, all she wanted to do was play anyway. Then she heard a rumble, then some raindrops started to fall out of the sky, she continued to play though, there was a huge and loud rumble coming from the sky, then the little raindrops turned into a shower. The rain went pouring down the sky faster than before! The red fox cub jumped and played in the rain while making happy yelps because of how much fun she was having. Then she saw a yellow streak come out of the sky, her eyes widened as she looked up and then back at the ground. There was a storm coming. The wind hollered and screamed as she sprinted as fast as she could back to her den and back to her family, dodging the lightning coming from the sky. Just then she saw a bunch of rabbits, jumping and running around fearfully. The red fox was hungry too, she snatched some of the rabbits and ate them. The rain dropped all around her, making sounds of drips and splashes, the rain created puddles that the red fox accidentally stepped in while she was finding her way back home to her den. She finally saw the hole in the ground and went inside, she told her parents all about the storm and that they should stay more deeper in the den. Her parents nodded and created a little but cozy room with three moss beds for the all three of them. The red fox cub walked over to her moss bed and shook all of the water off of her fur, she then closed her eyes and went to sleep. Her parents walked over to their moss beds after her and went to sleep too. The loud sounds of thunder and lighting wokentje red fox cub up, she was shivering and cold but decided to fight through it and went back to sleep.
