The next few weeks passed rather quickly. Before I knew it... it was already the first day of UA. Waking up to my alarm, I got out of bed. Going through my usual morning routine before heading downstairs. Seems like Uta left early for work once again.
The UA uniforms were at least way more comfortable than the ones from middle school, my only issue is how damn difficult it is to tie a tie.
I could barely take a step out the door before almost running straight into Katsuki.
"Tch, actually ready on time for once?" He spoke.
"Wh— on time? We still have a good hour until we actually need to be in class!"
"It's the first day! Neither of us know what the hell is going on with the layout of that place. I don't want to end up late because you got lost."
"But we're walking in together! And have the same class! If I get lost that must mean you did too."
"I don't get lost."
"Totally."
"Tch. Cmon. Let's go already." He grumbled, beginning the walk.
At least I lived quite close to UA... didn't have to worry too much about being late.Entering the classroom, as expected with how early it was, we were the first students there. At least we got first pic on where to sit.
Katsuki sat at a seat on the far left of the classroom. I set my bag at the desk directly to his right.
"You don't have to be next to me for everything."
"..do you not want me to be next to you? I can choose a different seat if you—"
"No. Sit down already dumbass."
"..alright...?" I tilted my head slightly, a bit puzzled. Regardless I sat down. I crossed my arms on the desk before resting my head in them. It's still so early... at least I can get a small nap it before the day starts.
Some time later.. I was awoken by the now loud classroom. Seemed majority of the students were here.
What I least expected was for Katsuki to be talking to someone. Though as I listened it seemed someone was trying to lecture Katsuki over anything. That voice seems familiar.
...
Oh. It's him.
I thought to myself as my eyes landed on that blue haired boy from the entrance exam.
"It's the first day and you're already disrespecting this academy by scuffing school property you cretin!" He spoke sternly, waving his hands slightly.
Katsuki was leaning back in his chair, legs rested on his desk. He had that familiar shit-eating grin. Tilting his head slightly before speaking.
"Youre kidding right? Your old school put a stick up your ass? Or were you born with it?"
I couldn't help but let out a slight snicker at Katsuki's remark. Looking around the classroom I noticed a familiar face peaking through the doorway. ..Izuku..?
Though my attention was once again drawn away.
"Ah.. let's start over" the Blue haired boy spoke, a slightly nicer tone than before. "I'm Tenya Iida, from the Soumei Private Academy."
Tenya Iida... At least I can put a name to the face now. He's still a dick.
"Soumei huh? So you must think you're better than me! I'll have fun tearing you a new one!" Katsuki responded.
As much as I care about Katsuki... he jumps to conclusions quickly.
Iida gasped, it was a bit hard to tell if it was genuine or just a bit. "You would threaten me?! Your own classmate? Are you sure you're in the right place!?" He questioned.
Katsuki only responded with an eye roll and a simple "Tch."
Iida's eyes then seemed to focus on the door.
"Uhm... hi...?" That voice spoke... Izuku. So I wasn't just seeing things.
Iida immediately marched across the classroom while speaking. "Goodmorning. My name is Tenya Iida and—"
"Y—yeah I know.." izuku responded nervously.
I looked at Katsuki for just a second. He was pissed.
"I—I'm izuku Midoryia... it's super nice to meet you...?"
"Midoryia." Iida spoke in a sudden... almost interrogative voice. "You realised there was something more to the practical exam, didn't you?"
More to the Practical exam...? Oh right... the rescue points... how would Iida know about Izuku's score... unless... was Izuku on the leader board and I just didn't notice...? Strange.
I turned my attention back to Katsuki who was practically shaking. Clearly pissed off at Izuku's presence.
"Are you alright Kats?" I asked, tilting my head slightly.
"Shut it." He responded without missing a beat.
"I'll take that as a no... but I'll also take that as a... you don't wanna talk about it."
He rested his head in his hand, looking away from me.
I sighed softly, turning away from Katsuki, over hearing a voice. Can't the people in this class quiet down a bit...?
"What do you think we're doing today besides orientation?" She spoke excitedly. Looking over, she was speaking to Izuku. "I wonder what our teachers are like, I can't wait to meet everybody!"
"If you're just here to make friends then you can pack up your stuff now." A sudden voice spoke, immediately silencing the whole class. Everyone's eyes locked onto the... is that a worm..?
Though the sound of a zipper soon made me realise it was a sleeping bag... how did he get there while in it...?
The man stood up... he seemed a bit familiar. Long black wavy hair, tired as hell, all black outfit... right. Eraserhead... not a popular hero but still a hero.
He looks like shit.
"Welcome to UA's hero course." He spoke, walking to the front of the classroom. He sounds like he hasn't slept in years. Looks the part aswell.
"It took you 8 seconds before you all shut up. That's not gonna work. Time is precious, rational students would understand that."
There was a moment of silence.
"Hello. I'm Shota Aizawa, your teacher."
Pro heros as teachers...? I guess it makes sense being it's a Hero school. And it explains why he looks so damn tired.
He set what seemed to be gym uniforms on the front desk.
"let's get right to it. Put these on and head outside."
Just like that...? Jeez.
Students soon got up from their seats, grabbing uniforms before heading to what I assumed was the changing rooms. Gah... I hate public changing rooms...
Eh.
Kinda my fault.
I signed up for this anyways.(🔥🔥🔥another chapter :3)
