A FEW DAYS WENT BY.
The whole town had heard about what had happened.
Reese decided to pick some extra shifts at work, to distract herself.
She stood beside Krista and wiped down the counter.
She noticed Jimmy enter, as she glanced at him.
Krista gave the pair a small smile, as she left the pair alone.
"Jimmy I'm sorry" Reese spoke up.
"Thanks" he replied.
Hearing his voice made her, heart race a little.
"You're a good friend, it was sweet seeing you and the team be there for Nataanii" she admitted.
Jimmy nodded.
"Thanks, appreciate it" he spoke.
"If you want we can do something, in our free time" Reese suggested.
Jimmy raised his brow, before grinning.
"What are you trying to say?" He asked, as he crossed his arms.
Reese came into realisation, of what she had just said.
"You know what I mean" she rolled her eyes.
Jimmy laughed lightly.
Reese hit him softly, before shaking her head.
"You're annoying" she rolled her eyes.
"I could say the same for you" he laughed.
The girl glanced at him, smiling as she felt her phone vibrate.
Shit. It's Heather.
The girl quickly exited, waving her goodbye to Jimmy.
"Bye Rezzy" he called out.
"Bye Holiday" she said, as she made a face.
Jimmy chuckled to himself, as he watched her walk off.

Reese entered the gym, as she sat down toward the front.
The girl had ran a few errands, before coming to watch practice.
Heather had made both the boys and girls line up, as she spoke.
"We're gonna do, what do we best Rez Ball" she continued.
Reese sat, and listened to her sister coach.
Her eyes lingering from Heather to Jimmy.
She shook her head, as she noticed they had started playing.
Reese laughed at the smart comments the girls had made to the boys.
The girls took the lead, as the boys were falling behind.
Reese glanced at Jimmy, who seemed stress.
The pair made eye contact.
Jimmy quickly looked away, acting like it never happened.

Jimmy sat alone in the locker room.
Reese came in noticing he was alone, she sat beside him.
"Hey" she spoke up.
She noticed he was tense.
"You did good" she shrugged.
Jimmy shook his head.
"Come on Holiday, don't stress you'll do better." She comforted him.
Jimmy just looked at her, as she looked back at him.
Heather soon interrupted the pair, as Reese shook her head.
"Bye Holiday" she said leaving him alone with her sister.
Heather sat in front of him, to have a one on one conversation with him.

It was the night of their game.
The game was all over the place, as both Jimmy and Bryson argued.
Reese bit her cheek anxiously, as she continued watching.
Jimmy tried getting the shot, but ended up missing.
It got worse, as the pair started getting in each other's faces.
Heather stepped in to sort the two out.
The game continued, but soon ended in them losing.
The team all headed to the locker room, Reese walking beside Heather.
They all sat around in the locker room.
She watched as Heather scolded the team, frustrated Heather left to get on the bus.
Reese didn't say anything, as she didn't know what to say, so she went with her sister.

Reese sat beside her sister, resting her head on the seat.
She glanced at her sister's phone, noticing all the hatred she was getting.
"Don't listen to them Heather" she reassured her older sister.
"You're doing the best you can, plus these idiots online wouldn't even be able to handle the amount of work you ever do." Reese said genuinely.
Heather rested her head on top of her sisters.
"That means a lot Rezzy" Heather responded.
Reese just grinned to herself.
Heather wouldn't know, what should would do without her sister.
