The ball that would be held at Hart Palace would be one of the biggest events of the century. The prince was to pick a bride—everyone from kingdoms far away would gather their eldest daughters to be picked from. The entire kingdom was thrilled for the soon to be king, but the prince? He was furious—it's was not not that he didn't want to marry. He didn't want to be marry a women.

He wanted to be wedded by a husband.
-----------
"father I Do not want to pick a wife. I do not like women" the prince said, starring at his father, who stood before him. "I have told you! you will not marry a man in this palace" the king said, voice raised slightly towards his son "Father, why? I do not understand the reason." The prince questioned "my son will not be gay! It is forbidden!" the king yelled then sighed at the flinch of his son.

"I have said what I said and that's final. Ezra the night of the ball you will chose a wife. Do you understand?" the prince nodded his head "yes father..." With that the king walked away leaving the boy standing there with his head low and thoughts running through.

To say Ezra was upset with his father was an understatement. He didn't understand why he had to have a wife. Why his father was the way he was with him wanting a husband. The people didn't care anymore about who loved who. Why couldn't he love who he wanted? it was the 21st century. He debated whether to go against his fathers words as he knew no one would care who he picked, but his father. So the question is—does he go along with his fathers words, or his heart?
--------------
Music playing, People laughing, voices echoing around the room, Feet hitting the ground as people danced. Everything was perfect--To the decorations around the ball room, to the food on the table behind the prince. Only the prince hated every second of it until he showed up.
---------------
"I still do not see why a bride is necessary.." I huffed out-loud talking to myself, before I took a sip of my drink looking at the princesses around the ball room. "well my Kind prince they are for "The future generations of our kingdom" as my father would say" I turn my head to the voice and see a male around my age, maybe a bit older wearing a black suit.

I looked up at his face, I took a small gulp noticing he was very handsome to say. My breath got caught a bit as my eyes traced his features; Sharp Jaw Line, beautiful brown eyes, plump lips-

"you okay prince?" His words broke my out of my thoughts "and who may you be" he bowed, before slightly looking up at me smiling. "Prince Atlas of the east kingdom" I bow to him "hello" I smile once I lean back up to met his eyes  "tell me prince, why are you sulking" he looks out to the crowd "my father. He wants me to chose a bride this evening" he nods

"ah I see. You don't want to be married" I shake my head "that is not it, I don't want to marry a women" he looks at me and smiles widely. "His smile is beautiful." I snap out of my thoughts now wanting to know why he smiled.

"what, why are you smiling?" I tilt my head at him "seems as I'm not the only prince who doesn't want a wife" I look at him with wide eyes "you do not like women?" he nods making me giggle, I set down my drink now giving him my full attention. "Do you know why he does not want you to marry a man?" He asks, making me sigh

"I do. he says that it is forbidden, but It's the 21st Century, I see no problem with it." He Chuckles "Are you going to do anything about it." He looks at me  "i want too, but I don't know how." He smirks a bit "want me to teach you?" He lets his hand out, I nod. He grabs my hand Leading me to the floor.

As we dannced, I laid my head on his shoulder as his hands wrapped around my waist; holding me close to him. My body is so close to his, I can Feel the warmth from him,the feeling causes me to sigh " you okay prince?" he whispers into my ear making my body shiver. " I am...I just...don't know what this feeling is" I say low but where he can still hear me.
