Oh no, oh no! I'm so late!" A girl ran as fast as her long legs could carry her. Her luggage in tow, she cursed herself for not waking up early, especially when she needed it most.
Where was she rushing off to, you ask? Well, she passed her interview just a week ago, and today is her first day serving as a flight attendant.
"Stacey! Are you on the way?"
"I-I'm trying! Ate Aiah, please stall them for a bit, I'm going as fast as I can!" The girl named Stacey was urgently replying on the phone as she ran.
"Why is the lounge so far away?" Stacey whined, never stopping her sprint. In her hurry, she didn't notice a group of passengers strolling into her path.
"Hey, watch it!" One of the passengers yelled but when she looked up, Stacey only had time to look at her unfortunate victim's eyes before slamming into her. She fell on top of the girl, and her luggage flew to the side.
"What the hell? Why didn't you watch where you're going?!" The victim growled from under Stacey, quickly pushing her off. Stacey groaned as her arm hit the floor.
"Miss Colet! Are you all right?" Stacey watched on as the girl's staff rushed over to her side, fussing over the girl who seemed to be just fine.
"I'm sorry. So sorry!" Stacey apologized profusely. The girl named Ms. Colet walked towards Stacey, glowering.
"Sorry? Do you think that suffices? Do you know who- Hey where are you going?" Colet was furious, watching the girl retrieve her luggage and sprinting off. No one has ever done that to her.
"I'm late for my job! I'm so sorry, I didn't mean it!" Stacey yelled back as her figure retreated in the distance.
"You're late, Stacey! Lucky for you, the head attendant isn't here yet!" Aiah chided as the younger ran in, panting and out of breath.
"Ate Aiah! I-I... made it haah... made it here as fast as I could!"
"You told me 5 minutes but you took..." looking at her watch, "10 minutes! What happened?"
"I kinda bumped into a passenger. She was making a fuss out of nothing, her staff too! It took me a while to get here!" Stacey pouted. Aiah was about to reply, but was not able to as the head attendant strolled in. Scanning the room, she was pleased that all the flight attendants were present for duty.
"Nice to see everyone here. Now, today, we'll be serving the first class passengers. These passengers are prestigious guests, so I want everyone to be doing their best. Besides, we also have Ms Colet on this flight. In case any of you didn't know, she's the daughter of the owner of V Entertainment. So I expect no one to mess up, is that good?"
