A/N: I absolutely love soulmate AU's. I just wanted to write about them as soulmates. I am not really satisfied with this but I guess it's okay.
Running away?
These two words appeared on James's skin after he turned six. He was curious about these words. After all, this will be the first sentence that his soulmate will say to him in future.
As a child, he spent a long time just thinking why he would be running away from his own soulmate. He thought of many reasons and possibilities but couldn't be sure if they were right or wrong. What if his soulmate turns out to be a thief or a gangster? What if his soulmate is a criminal? Or maybe his soulmate is just a scary looking guy with a soft and kind heart.
Years passed by and James is a teenager now. He doesn't think about his soulmate much anymore. When the right time comes they will definitely meet. But the words on his skin keeps reminding him that there is someone out there, sharing a soul with him. He isn't as alone as he thinks.
He has no idea when he will be able to meet his soulmate. He is curious but also patient. He decides to just go on with his life and see what happens. No matter what happens they are bound to meet anyways.

Don't take it the wrong way.
These words appeared on Taesoo's skin when he was seven. He woke up one day and there it was, sitting on his wrist. Just like any other normal person, he was very eager to meet his soulmate. Is that person a girl or a guy? Is his soulmate older or younger than him? Where is that person from? He had way too many questions but no answer.
He even went on a search for his soulmate when he was thirteen. Unfortunately, he couldn't find his soulmate. After three months of frantic search, he returned home.
"Maybe next time I should search for him in the mountains."
There is no guarantee that his soulmate lives in the society like other humans. Maybe he will find his soulmate in a forest. It would be great if they both were nature lovers. They could go on trips together.
Thinking about these made Taesoo very happy. He could not wait anymore to find his soulmate.
Few years passed, Taesoo doesn't go on soulmate hunting trips anymore. He realised that they will only meet when they are supposed to.
He got busier fighting gangs and being a king. All he can do right now is lead his life and wait for his soulmate to appear in his life.
