Harriet's transformation had been more than just physical; it was a calculated move to secure her place in the pureblood world. Her knowledge and preparation over the years had made her realize the importance of alliances. The magical world was as much about politics and influence as it was about magical power, and if she wanted to secure her legacy and prepare for the storm ahead, she needed powerful allies.

The Malfoys, Greengrasses, and Blacks were the most influential pureblood families, and Harriet was determined to gain their support. From her research and the memories she carried, she suspected that their hostility and support for the darker forces were not as simple as they appeared. Dumbledore had manipulated her life—so why not theirs too? If she could prove her suspicions correct, she might gain powerful allies and unravel a web of manipulation.

Harriet decided to start with the Malfoys. In her past life, they were portrayed as cruel and prejudiced, but she now questioned that narrative. She believed they were under Dumbledore's influence, just as she had been. If she could break those spells, she might find genuine allies among them.

On a bright morning, Harriet made her way to Diagon Alley once more. She had been observing Lucius Malfoy's habits for weeks, and she knew he frequently visited the apothecary and Gringotts on Saturdays. Disguised under a simple cloak, Harriet positioned herself near the entrance of the apothecary and waited. It wasn't long before she saw the flash of platinum blonde hair she had been looking for.

"Lord Malfoy!" she called, keeping her voice respectful yet loud enough to catch his attention.

Lucius Malfoy paused, turning towards her. His eyes narrowed slightly until he recognized her. His expression softened just a fraction. "Heiress Potter," he greeted, his tone formal and polite. "What brings you to Diagon Alley today?"

Harriet offered a respectful nod, keeping her demeanor poised. "I have some business to attend to, but I was hoping to speak with you, Lord Malfoy. I've come across information that I believe might interest you."

Lucius raised an eyebrow, his interest piqued. "Very well, Heiress Potter. Shall we take a walk?"

Harriet fell into step beside him, carefully maintaining the confident and respectful posture she had practiced. "Lord Malfoy, I have been studying magical compulsions and blocks. I have reason to believe that Dumbledore has been using such methods on certain families since Ihave evidence he placed several on me. I suspect he may have done the same to you and your family."

Lucius's gaze became steely, and he stopped walking, turning fully to face her. "Such accusations are not to be made lightly, Heiress Potter. If you have proof, I would like to see it."

Harriet inclined her head. "Of course, Lord Malfoy. If you are willing to trust me, I can perform a Revealing Charm that will show if there are any magical compulsions or blocks placed upon you. If there are, we will know the truth."

Lucius hesitated, his expression unreadable. "And why would you, an heiress of another noble house, be so interested in helping mine?"

Harriet met his gaze, her green eyes unwavering. "Because, Lord Malfoy, I do not believe in judging people based on false narratives. I believe that if we are to rebuild and reshape the wizarding world, it will be through truth and alliances, not manipulation and lies. I seek allies, and I want to uncover the truth."

After a long moment, Lucius nodded. "Very well. We will meet privately, and then you may conduct your test."

Later that evening, Harriet arrived at a private room in Gringotts, where ancient wards protected the secrecy of their meeting. Lucius was there, along with his wife, Lady Narcissa Malfoy, and their young son, Heir Draco Malfoy. Narcissa greeted Harriet with a nod, her sharp blue eyes assessing Harriet with a guarded curiosity.
