The pocket dimension, the morning of Jisung's birthday

Hyunjin, Felix, Jisung, Seungmin, and Jeongin were busy with preparations for Jisung's birthday party. Chan, Minho, and Changbin were out taking care of something. Little did the others know that the eldest had a special surprise in stored not just for Jisung but all of them.

"Where did Minho and the others run off to?" Jisung asks with a pout on his face.

"I don't know, Ji." says Hyunjin as he's helping Seungmin and Jeongin hang up the birthday decorations. "Chan said he had some big surprise for all of us."

"And he needed Minho for that?" Jisung says, that pout still on his face. "I miss him."

"Don't worry, Sungie, you have us." Felix says as he wraps his arms around Jisung's waist from behind.

Jisung smiles softly. He still finds it unreal that Felix is back with them once again. Ever since Felix's tragic death years ago, Stray Kids had been broken beyond repair.

But then, a visitor from another world came and brought their angel back to them. He then gave the boys this new home where they could live their lives in peace, as well as protect Felix.

Jisung turns around and hugs his twin back. "I know, Lixie." he says, tears forming in his eyes. "God, I'm so happy you're back with us again."

"You've been saying that for a year, Sungie." Felix chuckled as they part from their hug.

"And I'll continue to say it." Jisung said as he gently poked Felix's forehead. "Those years that you were gone were the worst part of our lives."

Hyunjin didn't want to hear that again. However, he knew that the others had suffered greatly as well. Although the members hardly brought up Felix's death, it would sometimes creep up in a conversation.

"Yes, Ji, it was incredibly hard for all of us." Hyunjin said as he wrapped his arms around Felix's waist from behind and rested his chin on the younger's shoulder. "But can we please not talk about that right now? Especially when we're celebrating life."

"I'm sorry, Hyunjin." Jisung said with a sad expression. "I didn't mean to bring that up. It was just a lot to deal with, you know? We never in a million years would've imagined that Lixie would come back to us."

"Hey, I'm not mad at you, Ji." Hyunjin said as let go of Felix and hugged Jisung. "Let's just talk about happy things, okay?"

Jisung looks up at Hyunjin and nods his head. "Okay, Jinnie." he says, causing Hyunjin to kiss the squirrel on the forehead and ruffle his hair. "Hey, don't mess up my hair!" Jisung playfully slaps Hyunjin on the shoulder as he tries to fix his hair.

"I hope Channie hyung and the others don't take too long." says Jeongin. "I really want us to get this party started. This is really special since it's already been a year since... you know."

It had been a year since Felix's resurrection, and yet, it didn't feel like it.  The boys were too busy with taking care of Felix and making him feel loved like never before.

Especially Hyunjin, since he felt the most responsible for the unfortunate chain reaction that led to Felix's untimely death. He showered him love and fixed his mistakes from his past. He would parade Felix whenever he went live on Instagram, and the stays had their love and support all of the way.
