The Chosen Ones 2: Bound by fate (Stray Kids X Ateez)

Chapter 7

"Well this was an eventful day to say the least." says Wooyoung. "But I guess it's just business as usual for us."

Stray Kids and Ateez all nod in agreement. Not even Chan and Hongjoong can be upset with the others for using their powers. Not after what they learned about how Dong-il's own flesh and blood treat him.

"For once I'd like some peace and quiet." Jisung pouted. "I mean, of all 365 days, why today, did something have to happen?"

"Hey squirrel, at least nothing serious happened." Minho says as kisses Jisung's cheek. "Don't be sad."

"I'm not sad baby." says Jisung. "I'm just frustrated, that's all. I mean, I know that things will never be normal anymore, but can't we get at least some time to live seemingly normal lives?"

Jisung's words had a lot of truth behind them. It was always at the most inopportune times when things went down that required them springing into action. Granted, just like now, a life was saved. But couldn't it happen any other day other than their birthday celebration?

"I just hope Lixie's birthday runs smoother." Jisung goes on.

"Oh come on little brother." Hyunjin says, patting Jisung's back. "Today was a good day. Except for that little hiccup at the end."

"You're right Jinnie." says Jisung with a smile.

"Of course I am." Hyunjin says with a smirk. "I am the older brother after all."

Jisung scoffs, as he swings to smack Hyunjin, but the older avoids getting hit by running ahead with Felix, laughing like a little kid.

"I'll get you when we get home." Jisung promised.

"Home?" Jungkook says. "What time is it?"

"About half past 10." says Seungmin. "Why?"

"Oh my God!" Jungkook says, getting nervous. "It's so late! We need to get home! I'm sorry, but we gotta go."

"Absolutely not." says Jeongin. "It's already dark. There's no way we're letting you guys travel at night. It's dangerous."

"I agree with Jeongin." says Chan. "You're all coming with us to the timeshare."

"It's okay." says Taehyung. "We don't want to bother you."

"It's no bother at all." says Hongjoong. "We just care about your safety and well being."

"But where will we sleep?" Jin asks.

"Don't worry," says Jisung. "You can all sleep on the couches." When he saw BTS's eyes widen, he quickly added. "Don't worry. The couches can turn into beds."

BTS then sighed in relief.

"The couches in our timeshare are the same." says Mingi. "You just gotta decide who sleeps where."

"Well Jungkook and Taehyung are definitely staying with us." Jeongin says as he puts his arms around both of them.

"We don't even have a change of clothes." said Jimin. "Or sleepwear."

"Well it's a good thing we brought extra clothes with us." says Seungmin. "We all decided to pack a little extra, just in case."

"But..." says Suga.

"Hey, you're not winning this argument." says Yeosang. "You guys are spending the night with us."

"You guys can let your parents know you're with us." says Felix. "Simple as that."

"I...we, don't know what to say." says Jungkook. "Thank you."

"You guys have been so kind to us." says Taehyung. "This is truly going above and beyond."
