"You know, we're being pretty rash. There's simply no way we can sail the grand line like this!" Nami's eyes scanned around the small boat, with limited supplies, before she settled on Luffy. She watched as he was using Mirajane's tail to nab fish for lunch, failing horribly of course. The crew had no doctor, cook, or shipwright, so in Nami's eyes, they wouldn't even make it halfway to the grandline.

They'd starve first. Or shipwreck. or die of some unknown illness as neither the captain or swordsman had any idea of the severity of such things. Atleast Mirajane understood they were underprepared and could die, more like would die, at this point, but she didn't push Luffy to make a decision and that irked Nami. 

"Why? We need more food?" 

"Yeah she's right, not a drop of booze on here."

"Im not talking about either of them!" Nami was exasperated to say the least, the two idiots didn't understand a thing she said, thankfully Mirajane continued.  Otherwise she might just throw the two overboard.

"Nami's referring to the fact, we dont have a proper ship, this is far to small to house the ten other crewmembers you wanted when we set off Luffy. Let alone the fact there's no kitchen, or proper rooms." The two boys seemingly nodded in understanding, before returning to their earlier shenanigans, ignoring both girls concerns entirely. 

"Idiots."

█▓▒▒░░░Time skip!░░░▒▒▓█

"Whad'ya know there really is an island here!" Luffy and Zoro docked the boat as Nami and Mirajane scanned the shoreline, her eyes narrowing on the rustling bushes.

"So Luffy, what should we do with those guys?" Mirajane jabbed her thumb towards the four figures, three of which immediately took off from the scene. 

Cowards.

"I AM THE NOTORIOUS CAPTAIN USOPP! FEARED PIRATE AND LEADER OF THIS VILLAGE!" Usopp, as he called himself popped up from the bushes dramatically after his companions ran off. Unfortunately, the four pirates didn't believe a word he said, besides his name. 

"LIAR!" Nami didn't want to waste anymore time on ridiculous lies, she could highly doubt this guy had eighty-million men at his command. Luffy just laughed at the guy calling him funny, and before long Usopp led the group to a restaurant in his village. 

"Really you're looking for a crew?" Usopp and the group were talking over lunch as Luffy and the crew went over what they would need before heading for the grandline. 

The list was long.

"Well if you guys need a ship, there's a place you can go. The huge mansion that sticks out, I know the owner of the place she's bedridden right now." He continued on telling the group Kaya's story, afterword's offering himself up as the groups captain. Not that Luffy would ever allow that, the crew also ruled him out of the vice-captain position, along with Zoro. 

Nami said they needed someone with some semblance of a brain, before throwing Mirajane into said position half-heartedly, as remuneration for that key she gave her back in orange town. 

Not long after Usopp excused himself, the three kids from earlier showed up, being fooled into thinking Luffy had just ate Usopp by Zoro, before Nami cleared up the short misunderstanding.
