Season 2 - Chapter 12: Eufrata

Kingdom of Eufrata

The morning set fine at the terrace where the twins stood to watch the sun rise. Damien had his coffee placed and balanced on top of the pole while Damon was sipping his tea as he was sat with crossed legs on the wooden chair beside the round glass table. Both had just awoken. Damien was leaning his butt on the pole with his arms crossed as he reminisced his dreams last night.

"Celestial Beryl." Damien whispered with closed eyes. His heart palpitating hard just by reminiscing the girl whose probably year or years younger than him. "That kid, she visited me last night again. Palagi niya na lang akong binibisita sa panaginip. Mahal niya na ba 'ko?" He yawned and stretched his arms.

Damon scoffed as he almost spit his tea, "Still no news about her." He said and stared at his twin brother, "Huwag kang masyadong assuming. Baka sobra mo lang siyang iniisip kaya pumapasok sa utak mo lagi. Ay teka, meron ka no'n?"

"Tsk." Damien clicked his tongue and took a sip of his coffee, "Why are we even looking for her?"

"Dumb. You initiated this. Have you not had reminded Van about her we would not be looking for that kid."

Napakamot ng ulo si Damien, "Kasalan ko bang hindi niya na nilisan ang isip ko? Bwisit 'yon, pati sa panaginip ko ngumingiti sa'kin."

Humalakhak si Damon at binato ng magazine ang kapatid, "'Oy gago, ang creepy mo ngumiti. Tumigil ka nga. Para kang tangang kinikilig sa isang hindi tao."

"Tao siya. 'Wag lang kitang mahuling nangingiti habang iniisip siya, hindi talaga kita mapapatawad." Hamon ni Damien.

"Loko." Ani Damon at umiling-iling pa habang umiinom ng tsaa.

He picked up the magazine again. Just when he was about to read the articles, the girl popped out in his mind making him click his tongue. Truly, she was a cute girl. He never thought Damien would be so fond of her. He can't help but to smile as well thinking what would be Damien and the girl in the future.

They're impossible tho. She is an Abyssal girl and his twin is an Echelon. They are so not compatible. Thinking how his brother would react with the things running in his mind makes his smile curve more. But come to think of it, the Prince has grown affection towards the girl as well. Was it affection? He couldn't tell, but Damon's sure Van is really determined to get the girl or to find that girl. Halos wala na ngang ibang bukambibig ang Prinsipe sa tuwing magkikita sila kundi ang babaeng iyon.

The Prince would always ask; "Got any information about her? Where is she now? Any information about the clan she belongs to?"

And Damon would just answer; "We only know her name. It was the only information we have."

Seriously, are these guys moping over a girl or he's just being too much? Sige na nga, iisipin niya na lang na may nakitang kakaiba ang mga lalaking ito sa batang iyon upang magkaroon ng ganito kalaking interes. Damon unconsciously smiled again. Ano naman kaya ang nakita ng mga 'to sa batang iyon? That girl is still a kid, so small for her age but he admit she's really cute. And she looks like the Princess he always admire.

He stopped on his thoughts when he received a pinch from Damien who's brows were furrowed.

"Oh ba't ka ngumingiti? Gago ka, iniisip mo siya 'no? Stop thinking about her!" Maktol nito.

Napangisi si Damon. His brother is really stupid for thinking about an impossible girl too much. His smirk widened, "I just realized, she's cute."

"Drop it!" Damien scoffed and threw him his magazine.

"Ano ba?"

They both stopped quarreling when a beautiful scent stepped in the terrace knocking their sanities off. Gosh, the morning is really fine and they were truly blessed to see such angel in the morning walking in the terrace to join them for morning tea.

Heavens, she's really screaming for perfection. Elysian Zellestaire will always be the best angel in disguise for them. Her mesmerizing eyes will always be the best, her angelic yet bold face and aura is screaming for perfection. How does she manage to look intimidating, fierce and soft at the same time? Her Burgundy Melinda dress hovers with the wind and the scent is just too perfect for the morning. What a blessed morning.

"What are you two doing?" The Princess asked. Elysian immediately walked in without their permission. Why would she need permission, this is her home.

"Princess." Damon stood up and vowed.

"Oy, Elysian!" Kung gaano naman kagalang si Damon, ganoon naman ka walang hiya si Damien na bumati.

"Gago, wala kang modo." Damon glared daggers at his brother. He sat again and offered the seat in front of him to the Princess. They're not awkward at all, they're always together everyday so they drop the formalities. Hindi niya lang talaga kayang hindi yumuko sa Prinsesa. He respects her so much to the point that he's willing to kiss the floor just to show his respect and admiration for the Princess.

"Looking for her again?" Elysian asked and joined Damon for a morning tea. A servant walked in holding a tray of morning soft meals, "Let's eat first. I've prepared foods." Elysian added.

Damien's eyes sparkled. "Uy, swerte. Tara, gutom na 'ko." He said and sat between Damon and Elysian. Damon glared daggers at him once again. His brother is truly a pain in the ass sometimes. Sa dinami-dami ng pwedeng maupuan sa gitna pa talaga nila ng Prinsesa.

Elysian began sipping her tea and the other two did the same. She opened the conversation, "You better start training. Hindi na natutulog si Van kaka ensayo. Samantalang kayong dalawa puro lang kayo laro."

"Nag-eensayo ako. Wala na nga akong tulog e', si Damien lang naman ang puro tulog. Mukha nang unan." Ani Damon.

Pasimple naman siyang siniko ni Damien.

"Tsk." Damien said with irritating smirk, "Trying so hard to get her attention, huh. Just to remind you, you're not Van. Wala siyang pakialam sa'yo kahit isang taon kang hindi matulog." Bulong nito na halata mong nangpipikon.

Damon just rolled his eyes and glared at his brother, "Mabilaukan ka sana."

Just in time when Damien was having a sip of his coffee, a servant walked in for an announcement. "Sovereigns, you are all being called by the highest monarchs."

At literal itong nabilaukan. Mabilis naman itong inabutan ng panyo at tubig ng Prinsesa na mas lalong ikinainis ni Damon. Wow, everything went smooth for his brother.

Patuloy na umubo si Damien at hindi na nakatiis pa si Damon sa kaniyang nakikita. The Princess is cleaning his brother's face! He immediately stood up and slammed his brother's back as if to help him, "Yan, tanga! Napakatanga! Ang bobo!"

Damien continued to cough and glared at him. They'll be having a sweet brotherly fight later.

Elysian stood up, "Enough you two. Let's hurry up."

Wala namang nagawa ang dalawa kundi ang sumunod. Umuubo parin si Damien nang lumabas sila sa terrace at isang malakas na hampas pa ang pinakawalan ni Damon sa likod nito dahil sa inis.

"Bobo!"
