Friday had finally arrived, Emma couldn't sleep in excitement, first because of her date and second because of her amazing plan of putting Lou and Debbie together.
She was passing everything in her head, she would set up an amazing dinner for them and leave the two alone, she wouldn't come back home until late so they could do whatever they wanted.
And finally she would have her happy family. Or so she thought.
She was getting ready, she decided to put a long red gown that was showing her body curves, with her long hair curves all down and a beautiful makeup.
She was finishing getting ready and heard a knock on her room's door.
"Come in" she yelled and her mother entered.
"Wow honey, you look beautiful." Debbie said admiring her little girl.
"Thanks mama" the girl smiled. "Do you want help with something?"
"Actually i am thinking about canceling, i mean, no one is coming except Lou"
"What? NO" the girl yelled and Debbie got a little scared and confused. "You can't cancel it, you were all excited, besides, Lou is great company"
"Yes, you are right" Debbie forced a smile.
"Come on, i will help you finish get ready" Emma pushed her mother to her closet before she could rethink her decision about the dinner.
"See, you look beautiful" Emma said as she finished applying her mother's makeup. "Lou is gonna love it"
"I think that's too much" Debbie said looking at herself in the mirror.
"Mama, sometimes we need to get overdressed, it's not too much" Emma reassured her mom.
Debbie was about to say something but the doorbell rang.
"Either it's for me or for you" Emma said making her way to the door.
"Hey, kiddo" Lou greeted Emma as she opened the door. The youngest let out a sight of disappointment. "Well am i that disappointing?"
"Sorry, hi Lou, great to see you, i just thought it was someone else" Emma said forcing a smile. "Come in, my mom is finishing getting ready"
Emma closed the door and at the same time Debbie made her way downstairs. The young girl could feel the tension being built.
Her eyes travelled Lou's reaction and Debbie's.
She could feel Lou's heartbeat growing faster as she realized she wasn't breathing and she could say that Debbie was enjoying that attention.
"You can breathe, you know?" Emma whispered in Lou's ears making her change her posture as she realized she had travelled.
"All of that for me, Ocean?" Lou asked making Emma laugh.
Finally working. She thought to herself.
"Well sometimes it's good to overdress" Debbie said and Emma winked at her.
They heard a car horn.
"Well, guess that's my way out" Emma said taking a jacket.
"Wait, aren't you staying?" Lou asked.
"Oh no, i am going out with a friend, you guys have fun" Emma winked.
"Wait, who is that friend?" Lou asked and Emma looked confused.
"An old friend" She answered.
"And why are you so fancy to see that old friend?" Lou asked and Emma laughed.
