Emma and Lou heard a knock on the door, knowing it was Debbie.
Emma looked scared at Lou who only laughed knowing a mad Debbie was entering the place.
"Emma Louise you are in so much trouble" Debbie said as soon as Lou opened the door.
The blonde was looking serious behind Debbie.
"I am sorry" Emma said looking down.
"No, what you did is wrong in so many levels, you really thought i wouldn't find out, you told me you were going to sleep in your friend's house and i went to sleep thinking you were safe, but turns out you were in Lou's bar God knows doing what" Debbie breathed. "Fuck Emma, i trusted you"
"I am sorry mama" Emma said again still looking down.
"You should be very sorry, you are grounded" Debbie said. "and i don't want you seeing that friend of yours again"
Emma immediately looked at Debbie confused.
"What mom, no. Are you insane?" Emma asked mad.
"No i am not, i am your mother and i know what's best for you, and this friendship is not good" Debbie said and Emma let out a sight.
"No mom, you are overreacting" Emma tried to calm her mother down.
"Lies, Emma, is something i don't accept, anything could have happened to you. What if Lou didn't find you?" Debbie asked and Emma looked to her feet.
"I was safe, i was with a friend"
"A friend, you were locked in the bathroom with a boy Emma, that is wrong" Lou said angry. "You don't know his intentions"
"He was nice and we didn't do anything"
"But it doesn't matter, you can't be in a bar when you are fucking sixteen" Debbie's voice raised and Lou agreed with her.
"And i apologized already, what else do you want me to do?" Emma asked mad.
"Not lie to me again, ever" Debbie looked deep into the girl's eyes, Emma felt scared with that stare and couldn't hold it.
"I promise, i am sorry" Emma looked down.
"You can't even look into my eyes when you say this" Debbie said and Emma looked at her.
It was when she realized how much she hurt her mother, they were having a good relationship but then she ruined her trust.
"I am so so so sorry mom" Emma told the truth. "I love you"
Debbie's heart melted with those words, but she was still really upset.
"I love you, too. Now let's go home" Debbie called the girl.
"Wait Debs, don't you want to stay? We can order something" Lou asked and Emma smiled.
She had forgotten about her conversation with Lou earlier but she was happy when she saw the woman determined to join her family.
"Yeah mama, let's stay" Emma helped Lou. "It's a Sunday, rest day, let's stay in and watch a few movies"
"Okay" Debbie accepted and Emma winked at Lou.
"Let's order Chinese" Emma said already taking her phone. It was when she realized she had multiple missed calls from her friend.
She decided to text her and say that she was making peace with her mother and Bella couldn't stop saying that she was sorry, which Emma really believed.
"What movie are we watching?" Lou asked as she leaned on the couch.
"Romance please" Emma said and Lou rolled her eyes, Debbie laughed.
