Suisei Pov:

Suisei kicked her shoes off, sending them skidding across her closet floor before shutting the door. She grabbed a pair of ballet slippers, slipping them on and winding the laces securely around her ankles. With her hair tied back in a short ponytail, she left her room and made her way to another—a spacious, airy studio with mirrored walls and ballet barres stretching across one side. Setting her phone atop a large speaker, she turned it on, connected the two, and selected a soft classical song. As the music began to play, she moved to the barre, starting her warm-up stretches with practiced ease.

Her movements were fluid, familiar. She shifted gracefully through first, second, third, fourth, and fifth positions, feet gliding through the steps like second nature. Repeating the positions again, she switched sides, occasionally breaking the pattern—first to fifth, then third to first, second to fourth. Transitioning into a passé, she shifted seamlessly into a battement, extending her leg high above her head. She lost herself in the rhythm, her legs rising effortlessly into tendus, pliés, and pirouettes. She moved with a fervor that filled the room, heart soaring as she leaped into a grand jeté, momentarily defying gravity.

Just as she was about to finish a relevé, a stray thought of Hikaru broke through her focus. Surprised, she stumbled, her feet betraying her as she faltered. How had she let that happen? She'd trained herself to suppress distractions, to let nothing interfere with her dance. Frustrated, she shook it off and resumed, determined to reclaim her focus.

Hikaru's Pov:

After saying goodbye to Suisei outside the hotel, Hikaru lingered while Hyuga returned to the Comets. Ten minutes passed before he finally gathered the nerve to step inside. Why am I so nervous? he wondered, chiding himself as he headed upstairs. After a brief check-in with security, he made his way toward Suisei's room.

As he reached her hallway, the faint strains of classical music caught his ear from a room across from hers. Curious, he crept up to the door, pushing it open just a crack. Through the sliver, he glimpsed Suisei, moving with a grace he'd never seen before. She leapt and spun, her slender form perfectly accentuated by her tights and leotard. He couldn't tear his gaze away, watching as she extended her leg in a high kick, her movements mesmerizing. She's... beautiful. He felt his face warm, surprised by the thought. She'd never mentioned her passion for ballet, and now he was utterly captivated.

As she ended her sequence, heels together, hands delicately curved in front of her in what he didn't realize was the first position, Hikaru simply watched, unable to look away.

Mixed Pov:

Suisei took a deep breath, grounding herself after her lapse in focus. She was back in control, each move calculated and precise as she resumed her dance. Her steps were delicate yet powerful, moving with a fluidity that belied the discipline behind each motion. She closed her eyes, letting the music guide her, aiming to silence the thoughts that had briefly broken her concentration. But Hikaru's face, unbidden, lingered at the edge of her mind.

Hikaru's heartbeat quickened as he watched her from the doorway, entirely unaware of how long he'd been standing there. He'd never seen this side of Suisei before—the grace, the strength, the passion that radiated through every movement she made. She seemed almost transformed, someone entirely different from the person he'd sparred with and bantered alongside. In this moment, she wasn't Suisei the Beyblader; she was Suisei the dancer, and he found himself entranced.
