Lexi paced across her living room, her mind whirling with doubts. Should she go, or should she stay? Was she ready to take this step with Reg, or was she walking into something she couldn't control? But as the minutes ticked by, she realized her decision was made. The car would be here any moment...and she couldn't bear the thought of disappointing Reg.

With a deep breath, Lexi reached for her purse, her fingers closing around the familiar weight. She'd face whatever the night brought head on. But as she turned to the door, a figure emerged from the shadows of her kitchen. Lexi gasped, her heart leaping into her throat. Reg.

He moved towards her, his steps silent, predatory. His eyes burned with an intense heat, his face a mask of desire. Lexi felt herself backing away, her body pressed against the wall. And then Reg was on her, his hands pinning her wrists beside her head.

"You're so soft," he rasped, his voice low and husky. His fingers traced down her cheek, his touch sending shivers through her. "I've imagined this so many times, Lexi. Wondered what you'd feel like under my hands."

Lexi moaned, her head falling back. His words sent a bolt of desire through her, her body melting into his. "Reg," she gasped, her voice barely a whisper.

He leaned in, his breath a scorching caress against her ear. "You won't believe how many naughty fantasies I've had about you," he whispered. "Bending you over my desk, taking you against the wall...making you scream my name."

Lexi felt herself getting lost in his words, her desire rising to meet his. She was falling for Reg, hard and fast. But a part of her was screaming a warning. Was she ready for the secrets he kept, the desires he barely leashed? And could she really trust a man who seemed to live in the shadows?

As Reg's mouth found hers, his kiss a hungry demand, Lexi realized she had no choice but to find out. She was in Reg's game now...and she could only pray she'd survive until morning.
