After a long drive and a long talk, my friends and I have agreed that some kind of slavery thing is going on here. We kept things quiet, trying to keep the anthros from being suspicious of us. We didn't know where we were going or what exactly we'd be up against, so we started to devise a plan.

Everyone began to pitch ideas to each other but a lot of them were desperate or unlikely to work. Mine was just to comply and do whatever it was they wanted until an opening appeared, and then we all take advantage of it. Colin shot that down since he wanted to act immediately, and since most of the guys were loyal to him they agreed with his plan. His idea was as soon as we all get out of this vehicle at the next stop, half of us grab onto a soldier  as the others go for his rifle or handgun. I told them that that plan was suicidal and we should just buy time until something better happened, but they said whatever the anthros had planned for us was basically suicide anyway.

After a silent argument, they would go along with the plan and I would spectate what happens. With the poorly developed escape plan made, we all just sat in silence and waited.

I didn't know what to talk about. Hell, I didn't even know what to think. Everything just keeps getting worse, I just wanted to leave the bunker for a short trip, and then I just wanted to find my friend. The only thing I could think of, a very small thing, funnily enough would happen to be the quote our bunker leader Conners would say.

A small joke came to mind in regards to Colin as his plan, the joke I came up with being, "We will never forget the poor outcome brought down by Colin's dumb plan."

The military convoy we were a part of had driven through now abandoned farming fields, nature having taken them back, and we reached this forest surrounded with a chain link fence, razor wire on the top. A guard in a booth opened the gate, and our convoy drove through. The trees around us slowly thinned out before we entered a massive cleared open area, fit with another chain link fence, guard posts at each of the corners, and a bunch of buildings in the centre. Our convoy was driven into a garage, each vehicle parking in their respective spot.

"You guys ready?" Colin asked.

Everyone besides me and Johnny agreed.

The soldiers stepped out of their vehicles, our driver, a fox, opening the door for us to step out. Colin cracked his neck and stepped out first, his friends following soon. I was the last to get out, making sure to keep my distance from the inevitable kerfuffle about to unfold.

The driver only had a handgun on them, their rifle still being next to their driver seat. Despite this, one of Roman slowly inched their way to the driver as he watched over us, before lunging and grabbing one of his arms. Colin ran up and and jumped in the air, punching him in the face. Colin restrained the other arm before Clancy ran over and snatched the handgun out of the fox's holster.

I ducked behind the vehicle with my hands up as the other soldiers converged on where the fight was happening. Clancy raised the handgun and took aim at one of the soldiers before pulling the trigger. Instead of the loud crack of a bullet being fired, there was the deafening sound of a click from the guns safety either being on or no bullet being chambered.

The soldiers opened fire on Clacy, probably a dozen shots killing him before his body hit the floor. Nate dove into the driver seat, attempting to grab the rifle before the soldiers shot him too. Colin and Roman let go of the driver and stepped back before the soldiers secured the area, bringing them to their knees and placing Nate and Clancy's bodies next to each other.

Johnny and I, having not been involved with this failed escape plan, were separated from Colin and Roman.

"What the fuck happened?!" The wolf leader from earlier asked.
