October 28th, 2013

After receiving my first paycheck, Lisa and I went out and created a bank account for myself to put the money into. She told me the best thing to do was to save up so I don't blow my money all in one place.

Today we were supposed to go to Harry's hotel room and write, and it apparently instead of Jim, Lucy (who was their publicist) was going to be attending. I was glad to hear that because I was not looking forward to seeing Jim after what happened a few days ago.

Lisa and I were the first ones to arrive and we saw Harry casually sitting on his couch eating breakfast.

"Well hello, Harry." Lisa said laughing. He sat up and set his food down on the coffee table.

"Hi, girls." He said smiling. I haven't really gotten to talk with Harry much yet, maybe now would be a good time.

I walked over to his couch and sat down looking at him. He was really tall. A lot taller than Niall. He had long skinny legs that looked even skinnier in the black skinny jeans he had on. He wore a black and white baseball tee to match. I could see his muscles through the tee and couldn't help but stare a little. I quickly stopped myself though, so things wouldn't become awkward.

"So, Harry... Do you have any material that you've written?" I asked him looking at his face. His eyes were such a cool color.

"I do have a little. I was just going to ask you to read over it." He said reaching for his phone. He unlocked it and opened his notes.

"Here's one of them. This is the most completed song." He said handing me his phone. It was titled Happily. I read over it slowly and was incredibly impressed. Its clear a lot of work has gone into this.

"I really like this. I can tell how hard you've worked on it. We should definitely work on it today. Have you shown anyone else yet?" I asked setting his phone down on the table.

"Well, Zayn has seen it but thats it. We tried to write more together but what we came up with wasn't a good fit." He said shrugging.

"We can talk about this song more later. I'm sure everyone will like this one." I assured him. "Do you have any more songs?" I asked.

"Yeah, I have a bunch but their not ready to be read yet. This one is completed but I'm not sure if I like it." He handed me his phone and I scanned over it. It's called Can't Be. It was a ballad about a relationship that despite how hard they both tried, nothing seemed to work. It was a topic often written about but the way he wrote it was very different. Its often hard to write about different unusually heard things, but he executed this song very well.

"Wow, Harry this is amazing. Its fantastic." I said handing him his phone.

"Thank you. I really wasn't sure what to think." He said smirking. I heard the door open and watched Louis and Liam walk in.

"Hey, boys." Lisa said as they greeted us. They walked over to where me and Harry were.

"Whats up guys?" Louis said. I haven't talked to Louis or Liam much either, and considering how much we'd be together in the future, I should probably try to break the ice.

"I was just showing Alice some work of mine." Harry said leaning forward.

"I can read some of your guys' too if you'd want." I told Louis and Liam.

"Next time I'll bring my stuff and show you." Liam told me. Liam was probably the one that I knew the least about. Lisa always told me Liam would be her favorite if she picked favorites. She said was really down to Earth and funny. They were really close, and he said she was his 'second mother'.
