Daneen's worry made total sense. She was known as a girl who had always remained upfront and confident in whatever she wanted. Andaleeb never surrendered to anything and anyone. She did what she liked. And her accepting this marriage and the man who kidnapped her was something irksome for Daneen. Why did she have to do that? She had everything to stand up for herself; just family wasn't something that held her back.

Daneen could understand this in her own case. She lacked courage and she would have done anything for her parents' happiness. However, Andaleeb was different. She chose her own decisions and she never approved of anything which anyone else would wish for her. When her marriage with Mohid was arranged, Andaleeb even fought back then as well. And now, accepting a life that was forced on her and living with a horrible man who had no regard for her, who mentally, physically, and sexually abused her, was far-fetched.

"It's been a while, Andi. People are forgetting everything. Why don't you just move on? Why can't you just leave all this? I don't understand why you still have to tolerate this toxicity. That guy...that guy literally forced himself on you. He kidnapped you and made you so helpless. You don't deserve to live a life like this. Why don't you strive for a divorce? You can get many good proposals. Why don't you think about yourself? Leave that egoistical man without anyone's help. You have my back. You don't have to bear it," Daneen instructed her, making Andaleeb's jaw drop.

She paused before taking a sip of the lemonade to wet her throat. Her sister was her best friend and well-wisher. Poor Daneen would always think that she was not happy in her life when it was the opposite. By living a contended and love-filled life with Masab, she would feel guilt to keep her mother and sister in darkness. They deserved to know what was the reality and they deserved to know that Masab wasn't bad. He never forced her or hurt her.

"I am happy in my life, Dani. I want nothing else anymore," she murmured, truthfully.

Daneen stilled, and a tension came into her shoulders. "What do you mean by happy? When did you become happy when you were being wronged and forced by someone?  This isn't the Andaleeb I know as my sister."

She shut her eyes tightly to process these words. Even this word force seemed like a repulsion for her. "He never forced me, Dani. Everything happened with my consent."

Daneen's eyes widened. "What? Don't try to lighten what he did. I know about everything he did with you. Mama told me everything. The day he sent you back to Baba's house wasn't normal. It came with a price for you. He took advantage of you and snatched something precious from you in exchange. I am not oblivious, Andi. From Mama's words, I am aware of the happening of that day. You were sent there in your bridal dress in a ruined state. He gave off a message that he owned you and we couldn't do anything in our defense."

Andaleeb sighed. "Dani, sometimes what the eyes see isn't right. Even our first touch of hands occurred with my consent. I love Masab and I want to spend my whole life with him."
