" So, you'll be flying this, F/A-18F Super Hornet as your test plane, " a blonde middle-aged woman explained and pointed at the fighter plane.

Amnon curiously looked at the fighter aircraft and cheerfully whistled in awe while sitting on the mat. The young pink skinned Kree Eternal turned to his older sister and asked, " How old is that putrid of flying metallic mud? "

Colonel Eumeralla " Ella " Hughes-Knightfall smirked at her younger half-brother's humorous query and loudly laughed. She couldn't believe what he had spoken. Amnon cocked his eyebrows and waited for his sister to answer.

" Oh, crikey! That's really sick mate! " Ella yelped. " You even dare to mention that bloody bastard's words in your question! "

" Hey, I'm just kidding here, Sis! No dramas! " Amnon also laughed. " Look, I'm lightening up the mood here! Well, I can't wait to take the controls of the Great Hornet. "

" It's around 59 years old before those drongos from the Foundation were flat out in creating you. "

" And this thing still flies? "

" Bloody oath, yeah. You surely want to ride this beauty, " Ella nodded. " You wanna give it a go, Amjoe? "

" Hell yeah, Sis, " Amnon confidently replied and stood up from the mat. " I'll make sure that fighting tin can flies. "

" Since, it's a 59 year old fighter plane. You just need to be careful with the controls. It has never been used for several years. Make sure to check the engine, the switches, and buttons. Don't forget to set the engine and plan for your test flight. "

" Got it, Colonel Hughes-Knightfall, " the pink skinned Kree Eternal affirmingly saluted at his sister and test flight manager.

" Alright, let's get started! "

[Forty-Five Minutes Later: Skies above Glenbrook, New South Wales]

Amnon Joseph Danvers-Montmartre was in full control of the fighter plane as his solo test flight. He was around 10 kilometers above sea level, still roaming around the troposphere. Flying in the air, he wondered if he couldn't pilot the Hornet on his own. Instead, he thought of flying on his own just like what he did above Rouen, France. He could remember he was reaching above Low Earth Orbit and seeing the dark void blanket of space with tiny specks of light. Somehow, that evening French spaceflight was even more satisfying than piloting an air craft.

A few years ago, he recalled of reading a book about the American pilot named Chuck Yeager who broke the sound barrier above the Edwards Air Force Base in California on the 12th of October, 1947. This time, he decided of doing the same thing in Down Under.

" I've been flying above the ground for a couple of minutes, " he musingly thought and smirked in his respiration mask. " Why not make it a bit higher than this?! Let's go supersonic, then! "
