"I promise Grandpa.I will do whatever you ask me to do."
Heeseung said letting out a breath.
Grandpa heaved a small sigh of relief,but the fact that grandpa wasn't quite comfortable to speak about the matter was well reflected in his expression.Heeseung kept quite and Waited For Grandpa to start his talking.Grandpa took a Deep weak breath & started in his feeble but Serious tone.
"Today I want to ask for something to you both.It's more like a Request. Think it as a last wish of mine..."
Jake furrowed his eyebrows slightly when he heared The word 'both'.He thought Grandpa wanted to tell something to Heeseung only.However,He put more attention in Grandpa's words.Heeseung kept quite & was listening attentively even though he was Curious too.

"Jake,Your grandma was my best friend.She was a friend Who were beside me in every ups & downs of my life.One day when we were in college,We promised each other a thing in The promise day.You know what?" Asked Grandpa with a weak chuckle.
"What was it Grandpa?" Asked Jake.
"We promised each other that,
The one who lives longer between us would Ensure the Safety & well being of the childs of the other one.Irony of fate,She lost her son & Daughter in law in a shocking accident in her lifetime.After that,All she had Was you,the only memory of her child.So she loved & raised You with infinitive love.But the Bell of death rang in her own life Before you turned 9 even.." Grandpa paused at this point.Jake was crying Non-stop standing beside grandpa.His sobs Were getting louder at every word.Heeseung was Also feeling sad.The room's atmosphere became heavy by The weight of their heavy hearts.
"She understood that her time was About to end.So,One day she called in her house.That day she Gave your responsibility To me.She wanted you to lead a happy & successful life.She gave the responsibility of ensuring that to me.That day,I promised her that,I would always protect you from every Harm & Ensure every happiness for you.From that day,I never Saw you as less Than my own Grandchild.Both you & Heeseung Are equal to me dear.."Said Grandpa.
Jake took His hand & held it close to his Chest.
"I know Grandpa.You loved Me just like your own Grandchild.You never let me feel that i was a outsider.And i Know you always Want the best for me" Said Jake with a smile through his tears.
Grandpa smiled Softly.Then he turned his Head to Heeseung.
"Evan my dear.You know after losing your parents,all i have is only you.You means the world to me.I can die peacefully now knowing that You are a Mature & responsible man at present who can take care of himself '' Grandpa said.
"I know Grandpa How much you love & care for me..." Replied Heeseung with tears in his eyes.
"Today,I'm at the door of death...But before settling one thing,I can't die peacefully.After thinking a lot,I've taken this Decision for both of you.It's for both of your well being.Do you trust me?" Asked Grandpa.
"Of course,Grandpa.We trust you.I know Whatever Decision You've taken for us is for our well being" Replied Heeseung as Jake nodded in agreement.But both of them Were unaware of what Was Grandpa going to say.
"I know it'll be a bit of unfair to you both.But trust me It's the last possible way i could decide.And i want you both To fullfill the last wish of mine by agreeing with this decision" Said Grandpa.
The confusion between their mind was Getting highter & higher.
"What is It Grandapa?" asked Heeseung.
"Untill Now,Jake was My responsibility.But Now that i'm going to die,I can't Leave Jake alone like this.If i do then it'll be a failure to keep my promise which i gave to my best friend"said Grandpa letting out a heavy breath.Both of the Younger boys were Drowning In the sea of Confusion in their mind.

"Evan,You are my Grandchild.I trust you.I hope You won't disappoint me" Said Grandpa to Heeseung.
Heeseung gave out an unsure nod.
"But grandpa,What do i have to do with This?" Heeseung asked confusedly.
Grandpa took a deep breath & looked at both of them once.

"I want you to marry Jake And Take his Responsibility" stated Grandpa.
Both Jake & Heeseung's eyes widened in shock.

(A/N:Grandpa Doesn't know about Heeseung & Sunghoon Being married.Heeseung just wanted to surprise him but....)

"-Gran-dpa..N-O..I can't do this.." Heeseung replied being Still in shock.
"You Promised me Evan.Don't disappoint me...please.." Grandpa said.
Heeseung Shook is Head in negative helplessly.He was thinking Of telling Grandpa about Sunghoon after a while but..Everything went wrong.
Jake Was standing Their being fully shocked.He didn't know how to feel about this.How can Grandpa Take this Type of Decision by his own?..He's a very mature person but today why?..He understands that Grandpa is doing this for him,But This is too unfair To Heeseung.He can Bury His own opinions for grandpa's happiness cuz He's so grateful To grandpa for everything.But He is feeling so bad For Heeseung.It's really Unfair to him,He's being forced to do something like this.As for Jake's own opinion,he also doesn't Want to be forced on someone like this,He doesn't want to be a burden.Moreover,He never Saw Heeseung in that eye..He never imagined Heeseung being his husband.So This is Awkward for him too.

"Grandpa Please listen To Me..please.I-I can't Do this Grandpa.." Heeseung Was trying Hard To Explain grandpa his situation.
"Don't Say this Evan..Please.Why are you Disagreeing like this?Where is the problem here?Jake is a good boy.You'll be happy with him.Also Jake will be safe with you.."Replied Grandpa.
"It's Not about Being Happy grandpa-" Said Heeseung,trying to explain his situation desperately.
"Then why?..." Grandpa asked.
"It's Because I'm M- Grandpa!!What happened?!Grandpa!" Heeseung Could not finish,Before that Grandpa started to breath heavily. Heeseung Immediately put on The Oxyzen Mask & called Nurse Loudly.
Two nurse came running & went to check Grandpa immediately.
"OH NO.His BP is Very high.His Condition is critical.Minji,Go Call Dr.Kim.Fast!" Ordered The nurse to the another as the other nurse rushed to Get Dr.Kim.
"Both Of you,Please go Outside of the Cabin.We have to start treatment" The nurse said.
Jake was Crying limitless.He was blaming himself for this Condition of Grandpa now.Heeseung was also crying & worried but he Was leaving As The nurse Told.At that moment,Grandpa grabbed Heeseung's Hand From behind.
Heeseung Immediately Turned back & fell on his knees Beside Grandpa.
"I-I-I T-trust Yo-u.Don't Disappoint me.I-t's M-my Last W-wish." Grandpa said in very faint Voice While breathing heavily.Those Words Hit Heeseung like a thousand of arrow.He could not say anything,he was Speechless.The nurse Already Got Jake out Of the cabin.
"Mr.Lee,Please Don't talk.And you,Please go outside"told the nurse.
Heeseung,without a second of delay,Walked out of the room.He could not express how was he Feeling?

Scared?Defeated? Worthless?Guilty?....
So many emotions were Eating him up from inside.He was scared,Scared to lose Grandpa;Scared to Disappoint Grandpa.He was feeling defeated that he Can't Keep his promise To grandpa.He was feeling defeated that he could not Explain Grandpa his situation.
He was feeling worthless,A worthless Grandson;a worthless husband.
He was feeling Guilty that he is the reasone probably because Grandpa's condition is critical now;all this is because he didn't tell Grandpa about Sunghoon earlier...
